There was a question about using QD (Quick Detailer) on the clear coats but I don't remember where.

Anyway, i found this link:

TLDR: You can use QD but still depends on the clear coat. Optimum No Rinse gives the best results for him.

I did send him a message na, la pang reply.

Pero sabi sakin wag lagyan ng wax dahil hindi nga kakapit sa ceramic cost yun. I bought the Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover specifically for removing bird drops and tree sap lang (lubricate and wipe).

As for the MF duster, may nabasa din ako na hindi recommended mga ganun, I forgot the reason why though, hehe. Pero definitely mas ok ang MF duster over a regular feather duster

Sir donj replied and he only recommend car wash over any microfiber cloth or QD. Prone to scratches daw if we use these.

Weird, he replied to me also and he said ok lang daw mag QD. He was even the one who recommended me to buy an Ultra Plush Microtex MF.

Yeah yung black meguiars qd is almost 1k na sa blade. Sa ONR, add water pa kasi concentrate. So madami magagawa sa ONR.

may i know anong dilution ratio ninyo sa ONR/water para safe sa coating?

i checked my notes and i have these ratios taken before from pinoy detailing
no rinse wash - 1 oz/2 gals water
clay lube - 2 oz/gal water
quick detailer - 8 oz/gal water
1 oz = 2 tablespoons

Ano ibig sabihin ng pagka "no rinse" niya? And pwede ba siya gawing spray din?

Btw, cinonfirm na din sakin ni Donj na mas malaki daw talaga chance ng gasgas kapag pinupunasan ng MF at QD palagi. Pero para sa bird poo, kahit daw tubig lang maalis na yun pero ok lang daw mag QD at MF pero dun la ng sa mismong area kung san yung bird poo.

From the videos, wipe na lang after i-apply.

Tapos depends on the dilution, pwede qd, clay lube or no rinse (?).

Recommended mo ba ang ONR? Nasa condo parking kasi ako so wala akong water hose nearby. Iniisip ko nga gamitin is yung water spray na may pump.

i used ONR lang as clay lube, i have not use it as a NO RINSE wash. i prefer pa rin yung typical car wash.

for condo parking/wash, i think pwede naman yung water spray pump kung di masyado madumi yung car. if maputik like yung umulan, i'd rather bring it in a good car wash shop then have it waxed, or ako na lang mag-wax pagdating sa condo.
