Another new brand I've seen which has earned good reviews is Korean brand Gyeon. South Casa I think will be the distributor here. Also, CarPro (makers of Cquartz) have released their Immortal (self healing) coating here. Inquired how much it will cost for my Hilux and it's around 120k, good for 9 years ata. Glass coat nalang. haha.

Japanese brand Brila by GMAN car care has also good reviews, and requires no curing time.

Meron pa pala, German brand Sonax also has its own coating. It's offered at LG2 carwashes in QC. No idea about it.

Sonax has a huge following in the US. many detailers were promoting sonax during SEMA2017

Just got my XV coated with GTechniq and got 12.7K for all these:

CSL + EXOv3 for body and wheels
G1 for windshield
Camui for other glass windows
C1 for trims

Grabe naman yun 120k na coating.. pwede mo na itabi yun then after 10 years pa washover ka na lang.. hehe.. kung magaling yung shop na mag washover parang brandnew ulit yung oto..

Hindi ko siya ma-rate technically kasi hindi naman ako naglilinis ng sariling car ko pero so far so good naman.

Kaka carwash lang ng car ko ngayon tapos may mga nakita akong maliit na mga gasgas sa windshield. I'm not sure kung dahil sa tint yun or dahil sa coating pero kapag hinawakan ko yung mga gasgas sa loob and sa labas ng windshield, wala akong maramdaman na roughness. Ngayon ko lang din sila napansin.

does collinite have anti static properties?

some waxes soften..and when they do you will feel the ash fall or carbon particulates on your wax...

Sir, naobeserved ko lang na you have the knowledge re coating dito sa thread. Hingi sana ako ng advice sayo( atleast three with price) saan ang cheap and effective shop to have my tsikot treated. I'm decided na para mag pacoat pero sa daming choices e confused na ako. Help me pls Sir and siguro sa lahat ng Paps out there na nakabasa ng concern ko. Maraming TY

depende naman sa budget... meron low end.. mid end.. and overpriced shops😅

what matters most is the paint prep. some shops do it good. some make it mirror like.

mid-end:

technical details(fb) marikina meron basic gtechniq csl+evo3 package with reasonable price.

highend:

Is it normal for the wiper blades to skip when the windshield is ceramic coated? Sabi ni Donj sa Optimum Impressions normal daw yun dahil squeaky clean talaga yung glass. Kaya kapag umuulan daw, dahil nagbebead naman, medyo two or three wipes lang daw ng wiper ok na then bigyan ng interval ulit kung gusto mag wipe ulit.

Hassle lang yun dahil mawawala use ng rain-sensing wiper ko.

I saw a small chip on my car pala. The glass coat wasn't able to protect it. Parang lumagpas sa paint eh. Anyway, I'll have it checked sa rebirth, sana icoat nila uli para matago yung chip.
