That is kind of hard to quantify even by professional detailing standards, since you have a lot of variables to consider, and I don't think anyone has a controlled experiment to determine the actual length of time that glass coats will outlast sealants. From what detailers have said, if you have a black car, if you have the time, then probably better to get the sealant since black will need regular maintenance vs other colors. Otherwise, if youre short on time, have colors that conceal blemishes better, then probably better to get the glass coating.
