Yup, pwede kahit lumang car. Kahit nga may gasgas, pwede mo lagyan ng glass coating. Pero best effect kapag walang gasgas.

Too short ang 6 months for coating. Synthetic wax or sealant can last that long. If magpa-glass coating ako, gusto ko at least 2 years ang longevity. The longer, the better.

Ahh, sorry Sir, mr. squeaky glass treatment is a rain repellant po pala, water sheeting is very good and greatly reduces water spots formation...

guys, need your advise. i am currently canvassing and reading reviews for service providers doing glass/ceramic coatings here in Metro Manila for my Civic. but i am confused as to which is better. i'm looking for reasonable price with good quality (that would last up to 2-3 years).

Below are the current list that I have:
    - Mastermind Auto Lab - Php13,000
    - Technical Details - Php8,500
    - GMAN Car Care - Php18,800-23,500
    - Buff n' Grime Professional - Php25,000
    - Ziebart North EDSA - still waiting for their price
    - Manila Detailing Professionals - Php5,500 (if within promo period, with Php1,000 discount)
    - Big Bert (just added in my list based on other's post, not sure how much is the price)
    - Akemi (just added in my list based on other's post, not sure how much is the price)

I find all their pictures and reviews to be fine, lahat makintab after coating. hahaha! not sure as to the experience of those who availed as to which is easier to clean after, kintab after X months, bagsak ng rain water, etc.

I am just not sure which one really lasts and worth the price? my budget, if possible, not over Php20k.

Yung sa Gman and Technical Details parehas ng price if equivalent solution gagagamitin mo. Yung 8500, yan ata yung lower end. Been inquiring too, lalo na from long term users. So far choice ko is between Brila (GMAN) and Gtechniq (Technical Details and Sprint Auto Spa). Yung Akemi parang mga casual car drivers yung nag rereview. Long term wala pa feedback.

So far yung mg responses din ng mga gumamit is a bit underwhelming. Like the whole coating thing is a big deal at 16K +. I hope magkaroon ng more in depth discussion or comparisons sa mga dumaan na. Mej mahal din so dapat talaga sulit. Basta, right now it's Brila vs Gtechniq for me.

Have you tried asking casa or suking car shop for their all panels - car repaint prices? Baka kasi almost same lang, mag parepaint ka nalang after 3++ years, sure pa na makintab/scratch free parin/ulit yung car.

Any review/s sa carat ceramic glass coating ng bigbert's? Mura lang kasi around 10k sa sedan.

Ive inquired before sa kanila, free booster pa every 3 months within 1 year. And ok lang daw gamitan ng shampoo

Also, nagllast ba talaga ang coating more than a year?

Is it true ba hindi pde I buffing ang ceramic coating? Yes pde re apply on a small area..pero what if after 2 years madami na gasgas..di na daw pde buffing?

Only re apply or remove it completely which is more time consuming than putting it on?

When inquiring about cermamic / glass coating prices ... remember to ask if it includes paint correction ... paint correction can cost around 2T-4T ...

Before you can apply paint protection, the vehicle's paint has to be prepped first ... clean the paint, remove contaminants, etc ... even if the car is brand new ... others call it detailing ...

    Thanks for the info sir.

Is it recommended just to use water without shampoo during carwash after the glass coating?

its the same process with or without the hard coat. you dont want to cause swirl marks.

lots of youtube videos how to avoid swirl marks.

Iba ba ang Glass coating sa Ceramic Coating? Which is better?

If my budget is around 30k for my Grand Starex 2012, ano ba ang the best para dito? I was looking at Ceramic Pro (P45k for their 9H Ceramic coating) pero sabi ng iba mas ok daw yung Glass coating kaysa ceramic at mas bagong technology daw yung glass coating (i thought kasi parehas lang sila).

Ok ba yung sa Buff N Grime Glass coating? Their price is exactly 30k for my Starex. They use Scholl Concepts for Preparation, Paint Correction and Paint Enhancement and for coating, they use Art Pro Ulgo by Carmake Artpro. (Rupes buffing machine)

30k is their premium 2 layer package, 5 year warranty and includes paint correction and paint enhancement.

    Paint Correction:
    -removal of asphalt
    -removal of road film
    -removal of light scratches
    -removal of swirl marks
    -removal of hair line scratches
    -removal of holograms
    -removal of wash marring
    -restoration of oxidized panels
    -degrimming

    Paint enhancement:
    -increase in gloss
    -increase in depth
    -increase in color
    -better paint luster
    -flake popping

Tingin nyo mga pre? Ok naba yung sa Buff N Grime or should i consider someone else?
