    Number 1 pro-tip!

Costly mistake kasi nakalimutan ko habulin ng QD

Buti nalang it's just the door sill beside the window. Pwedeng lagyan nalang ng sticker nung buyer para mag-mukhang "premium"

Yup i have separate wash mitt naman for lower panels. Long time BB suki, now puro DIY na, puro bago na tao ni BB pati shampoo ang labnaw na...

And do straight lines, not circular ones. Para if ever you scratch it up, its easier to correct.

Ako two wash mitts. One for upper half, one for bottom half. Katamad lang talaga minsan in preparing for a wash session.

Getting back to waxes, I agree on TW. I heard their ICE speed compound is good. Galing nga eh, didnt know you can buff it off with water. Hehe

Ang issue na lang actually between the budget brand waxes against the more known ones is the longetivity and durability.

On another side note, sakto pala ung pag glass coat ko sa car ko, maulan na ngayon hehe

I actually use the ICE spray wax as drying aid every 3-4 washes. Okay din siya kasi doesnt leave any residue and no streaking. And I was surprised, no buffing needed na, so minimized ang contact with the car.

Ngayon ko din nakikita ang benefits ng car coating. Sinasadya ko pang mag payong sa gitna ng ulan para makita beading and sheeting effect

    yan ang tamang OC[emoji108][emoji2960]

kapag umuulan din at tumatakbo ang sasakyan gusto ko i check ang beading at sheeting properties ng isang wax. most of my boutique waxes exhibit similar waterbeading effects since mga carnauba based. sa ulanan ko nagustuhan yung nabibiling hydrophobic wax, not much beading but the sheeting is really good. nag-slide talaga ang tubig especially if applied sa mga salamin, lumilipad ang tubig kapag nahampas ng hangin[emoji6]

i highly doubt if tatagal ng 1 year yan kung daily drive sa tropical climate natin. pwede siguro kung nasa garahe lang the whole year[emoji2369] sa acid rain lang which is common ngayong onset ng rainy season, its a good testing ground kung kaya niya tumagal. keep us posted sa durability at level ng protection niya...

Actually sheeting is better than beading in most cases. Less chance of water spots. So pagkauwi sa bahay after raining, buhos ako ng water to sheet off the water. Haha

Nu Finish ba, yung may orange bottle? According to reviews, it does last a long time, but many agree na marketing strategy ang "Once a year" waxing nila. In our climate, I'd give it 4-6 months durability, with the rainy season getting the shorter end of the stick.

Yung boutique waxes ngayon, almost all exhibit hydrophobic properties na, magkakatalo nalang sa longevity of the product.

Pero mahirap mag sheet pag sa roof and water. Like today, di ko pinunasan ang car dahil sa pagod kagabi after the rain, drove with the car wet. tanggal lahat ng water, no water marks pero sa roof may konting water spots pa, na im sure mamaya may water marks.

Nasa huli ang pagsisisi Good thing newly prepped, no permanent water spots after i quick detail it after hehe.

Our car's exterior contains harmful chemical from the sun, rain, salt, and other environmental hazards. One of the best ways to protect our car's exterior is by regularly waxing it. What I do before is to ask my mechanic if my car needs waxing. Two years ago, he suggests we do it at least four times a year, or every three months. And up until now, I've been following it. Hope this helps!

i don't wax my car. just water and some soap.
but i do have roofed garage, at home and at the workplace.
after several years, the finish still looks good.

^I’m sure if you look closely under direct sunlight, swirl marks & scratches will be visible.

A roofed garage is still better than any wax though I do wax my car on a periodic basis. Say every 2 months.
