sirs tanong lang.. if pinatungan ng ibang wax as booster yung 476 or fleet.. same padin ba yung effect ng beading na binibigay ng fleet or 476? kasi yung pinataong na Wax ang naka expose diba at naka tago si collinte.. so pano yung beading? beading ni booster wax ang e-effect? TIA
Paano ba nalalaman kung wala na talaga yung wax?? Kumakapit na ba yung water droplets imbis na mag bead sa paint?
its quite hard to tell but it all boils down to water behavior it it doesn't sheet anymore or doesn't bead anymore thats basically it, but if it doesn't bead or sheet anymore it doesn't really mean there's zero protection left it might still protect a little but not as good anymore
i think it all boils down to how hard the water is, there's some cases that even if you have left a few drops on the paint you don't get water marks and there are some cases where the water is really hard and it does affect wax durability, one of the easiest ways to check if you have hard water is to leave some on the rear window, and see if it marks
Hi Guys,
I filled a paint chip with some touch up paint, but I forgot to add masking tape to the surrounding area and messed up by spilling a layer of some touch up paint on the surrounding area
I'm having a hard time removing it. I have found countless u.s. threads on google about langka blob eliminator that comes with the langka paint chip kit to remove touch up paint only without removing the clear coat and paint beneath it however I'm having a hard time finding this in the Philippines (at least online) yet its widely available in the US.
I'm scared to use lacquer thinner as this might eat through the clear coat + paint beneath the accidental touch up paint area but if this will work I may try it. I have read some online threads about using sand paper (high grit) but I'm still skeptical if it will remove only the touch up paint and if it will make it worse with sanding marks.
I just want to remove the top layer of touch up while leaving the clearcoat and base under it. Any insight or tips would be greatly appreciated and where I can find the product to remove the touch up paint only (ace hardware, blade, etc)
I do have some meguiars ultimate compound but I'm not sure if this will work, want to check with you guys first on how I should proceed.
Daming watermarks..
Removed watermarks using a generic rotary, megs finishing pad and Optimum poli seal
Applied DP Policoat paint sealant as LSP
Will apply another layer after 24 hours

I was able to buy a Langka Paint Chip kit from Autoplus (EDSA) back in 2005. You may want to call them up and ask if they still have it, or know how to get it.
How long has it been since you've applied the touch up paint? Langka kasi works best if the touch up paint is less than a week old. If left to cure for a longer time, it will have a harder time getting rid of the excess paint.
Thanks for the reply bro. It's been less than a day or a day at most. I tried calling them but they have no idea what the langka paint chip kit was, had to explain to them it was a paint chip repair and remover but they don't seem to know it.
I guess I will try later to use rubbing compound to see if that will remove the touch up paint.
I used Moms Step 1 to remove the water marks form my hood. After applying and rubbing gently with my finger, i wiped it off with a microfiber cloth. I did this for 3-4 times because the stain was pretty hard to remove. I also noticed that the red shade of my car where i applied step 1 wasn't as bright as the area where the chemical wasn't applied. After appying moms step 1, i applied NAno Glos and the color went back to its original state. Did I just damage my paintjob by applying multiple times? Will the dullness of the paint return once nano glos fades off?
The instructions states that I should only use this 1-2 times a year. When I did the multiple applications, did I just simulate 2 years worth of application?
sa pagkakaintindi ko sa instructions ng mothers, yung 1-2 times a year reffering for the maintenance interval.
