1k kuha ko, Source Chemical yung brand. im not sure about the weight.

according to master, it's ok to clay mags. just be sure to use old clay para hindi daw sayang yung clay.

sir para maka mura .. bumibili ako ng mothers clay bar set 1.3k tapos ibebenta ko yung QD ng mothers na kasama sa set ng 600 pesos or 550 pesos so lalabas nasa 700 pesos yung bili mo dun sa clay with MF towel pa hehe so kung bebenta mo din yung MF towel ng 100 so nasa 600 lang yung clay.. good for 2 years na yun kasi 2pcs yun andun isa kada taon ehehe

Hmmm whats crazy is why did they use compound on the whole body if only a few panels are being worked on, you could tell them that nothing beads true blue OEM clear coat and they should do their best to make it right, its bad enough they already reduced your clear coat and making the right color match and make sure the finish is 100% perfectly clear would be the least damn thing they can do, you didn't authorize them to use compound on the whole body so why did they go ahead and do it? going against protocol? then at least make sure they finish the compounding damage they did

Titingnan ko kung ano kalalabasan. Gusto ko ipa wet sanding sa kanila then compound, polish, finish.

Pag hindi parin maganda kinalabasan, repaint nila yun bwiset.

it depends on the inclusions, is the 7k for the machine only? if the unit still looks like new and still performs great then its not a bad deal i guess although i would still recommend you just get yourself a new one

Issues:
- Hindi masyadong pulido yung pagkaka polish.
- Marami pang sanding marks.
- Kita pa yung micro swirls from Rubbing Compound.
- Medyo malabo pa yung clear coat.
- Magaspang yung whole body.
- Hindi na-sand or Buff yung door handle bowl.
- Halata yung putol ng painted part sa rear quarter panel.

Thats what i call a hack job!

Distinction of image is gone!
Clarity of paint is gone!
Obviously slickness and smoothness of paint is not present!
Color matching didn't match!
As with the door recessed part of the handle they should at least try to polish it down by hand with some mild polish until its clear

At first i thought it might just be caused by the different lighting of the picture but once i saw the rubber and plastic trims and compared how light hits them its pretty obvious the color is really different

Kung may gamit lang ako dito like PC7424, Orange cutting pad at Mothers Machine Glaze, Mothers Foam Pad Polish.

Actually in most cases repainted parts are really quite hard to match with the paint but most are barely visible to the untrained eye, but this one doesn't take a trained eye to distinguish, then again the lighting is also different

cleaner wax needs finishing wax...

pwede bang ganito cleaner sealant tapos finishing wax

also, cleaner wax tapos finishing sealant

Cleaner wax is best when topped with finishing wax

cleaner sealant is best with a pure sealant

cleaner sealant can be used with a wax on top but some cleaner sealants require curing time although 90% of them don't

using a cleaner wax and top it with a sealant however would be pointless because of the oils of the wax making the sealant bond less with the paint

actually, I was interested in this as well... ok na bargain na rin kasi... a bnew PC would cost $129 = P6.3K plus state taxes and shipping, it's like buying a PC in the US without all the hassle...

sabi naman dun sa link ni watusi, the difference is just the addded 20% efficiency, so 7424 can still do what the XP does...

hmm aside from the added 20% in power another bonus of the new XP is the heat reduction of the machine under load, the machine was upgraded with a more powerful motor along with proper wiring for it to be able to handle more pressure under load without heating too much, so if with a 7424 you can polish for 4 hours straight before reaching X degrees it would take about 5 to 6 hours before the 7424xp reaches the same temperature so this makes the 7424xp also in some ways more durable

I'm planning to apply swirlX sa hood ng black Innova ko. Madami na kasing visible na light scratches and swirls. Pano ba mag-apply ng swirlX by hand safely and sa hood lang naman? Saka ok lang ba mag swirlX kasi more than a month plang yung sasakyan? And after swirlX ano pong recommended nyo na pang polish? Thanks!!!

hmmm if i were you the first thing i would recommend is to try and notice where the swirls are coming from, is it coming from washing techniques? if yes then practice the two bucket method properly first before you correct the paint, if its not caused by washing then try to isolate the root cause of the swirls and then do something about it before you correct the paint of swirls, this way if the paint is correct and swirl free you would have a longer chance of preserving that perfect finish for a longer time, one thing i don't really agree with is that most people actually have their cars detailed twice a year to remove swirls not knowing the these swirls can easily be avoided just by proper washing techniques but if you really can't stand it anymore then i would say go with it, After swirlX you could try Megs Step 2 to add a little more pop

i think edwin sells them for 1k but im not sure, he has some upcoming claybars from a known company but is still not yet disclosed try to watch out for it and yes you could clay mags although i would suggest you use really old clay bars for that
