I think it's ok kahit ligh pressure...

so first, cotton buds pang spread lang ng cleaner wax

tapos, get a chopstick (e2 ung gamit ni sir edwin and i like this better than bbq... pero preference ko lang ) carve the slimmer end so make it look like a chisel (parang ung end point ng stabilo na high lighter, flat point), you can use a cutter for this

tapos make the edge dull, taktak mo sa glass or any smooth surface para maging brush like ung dulo

voila! may world class "Detailing Stick" ka na... even with light pressure, it won't scratch kc mejo brush like ung dulo..

super meticoulous and degriming, i dont recommend doing this when you detail you whole car... better to save a session just to degrime.

recommendation ni sir PSI, invite your frnds over, have a beer, and mag degrime ka... mahaba-habang kwentuhan yun!

*migs those pics give me a flashback of my first ever detailin EB... hope I can join the next ones...

Thanks for clarifying. Yun pala, parang chisel yung tip nya, hindi pala matulis as in nakakatusok.

    Hehe.

In between the tubes meron spatula sya...yung kulay white

Hindi mo kailangan ibabad ng matagal. Actually, puwede mo muna i-degrime using the cotton buds; mas madali mag linis ng larger areas. After that, for the really stubborn areas and singit-singit, then you can use the "detailing stick." Yes, parang stabilo point. Puwede malamang yung mga chopstick diyan; papalabutin mo naman yung pinaka tip para frayed siya ng kaunti.

hmm i think you could still scratch the paint with that, i have one of those at home and its edge is a bit sharp so scraping might be a problem especially with heavy grime that contains some grits

    Hi guys!
Do you think casas really do apply wax every after maintenance?
Just had my 15k pms in toyota pasig, and noticed that my paint job is quite slick. Hmmm, wondering what wax they used. Na-ttempt tuloy ako mag re-wash kahit shiny na yung kotse.

Yes it would be ok to apply Nano Gloss and Nano Sliq as long as you let the KSG cure for 24 hours before applying Nano Glos if its an old layer of KSG then you could apply Nano Glos but the swirl filling capabilities would already be different, Nano Glos is great at filling swirls when used on a bare paint, but the same cannot always be said about paints covered with sealants already so it might fill some but im quite sure its not the 100% filling capabilities of Nano Glos, keep us posted on the results and let us know if it still filled the swirls on top of KSG, thats one thing i haven't tested but theoretically it should be ok

thanks mam madkatz sa reply, actually wala naman siyang swirls may mga hairline scratches lang, kita lang if you look closely... black kasi car ko. if after kong gumamit ng nano gloss, slick or other quick detailer like showtime, wipe & shine...do i have to wash my car again if i want to apply another layer of KSG?

eto ride ko after applying 1 coat of KAIO at 2 coats of KSG with 24hrs curing time in between, just used wipe & shine to prep before KSG.

Hmm if i were you i would just wait for the existing KSG to be spent before i re-apply it again with KAIO and KSG, you see if there's already a wax on the paint KSG won't really bond with the paint properly, so what i would do in your case is after 4 to 5 months i would totally zero out and remove anything on the paint by using a clay if necessary and a pre-wax cleaner or in your case KAIO. The common practice is to layer as much sealant as you want, 2 is good, anything above 3 is already like wasting product except if you have polycharger, and then layer the wax you want, and then use a wax to maintain the current protection and after 4 to 6 months remove everything and re-layer again.

with sg topped with wax, does a daily driver just need weekly washing and rewaxing in 4-6 months? e.g. muntinlupa-qc daily, cos it does collect debris that needs claying. is it ok to layer wax over those?

    thanks for the advice.

i bet some of you will read that as thanks in advance.

    hi detailers!

nasa BigBert's yung mazda2 namin ngayon for the optiguard session.

planning on coating it with 476 tonight... I wonder if this is such a good idea, or does the carlack need more than 8 hours of curing time?
