Thanks bro.... reason for asking is i read that paint sealants should bond/cross link daw with the paint surface and im just worried that the previous layer of carnouba wax will greatly decrease it's effectiveness and supposed protection?

comrades, nagbabalik loob dahil may bagong auto..hehe..
sa Landscape photography eh since 5 year old na ata yong auto ko that time..tumigil na ako mag detail..

2013... tas now 2017 may bago akong auto kaya magbabalik loob ako...

another question mga papi, after applying the collinite gaano ba katagal curing time neto? kasi
napansin ko sa auto ko pagkagaling ko sa labas eh may parang itim itim o libag to sa tao after ko
    mag-carwash...

sabi naman ng tropa ko wax daw yon dapat indi muna ilabas after waxing kaya naitanong ko curing time
    ng wax..

nakuha ko naman ito ng mothers step one..i mean nawala naman after ko applyan ng mothers step 1...
tas nag top coat na lang muna ako after

    I second this question.

Make sure walang matirang wax hazing after mo I buff

Guys, is it recommended to paint correction a brand new car that was just released from the dealer? I have a sealant and wax here. Ill apply it but the paint correction is what I cant do kaya sa shop ko ipapagawa. If ever, how can I remove the existing layer of wax granted that the dealer put one in (since ill apply sealant)

Also, how do you quickly clean a dirty windshield? For example umulan ng tanghali and umaraw and natuyo na and left those dirt. Papano sya safely lilinisin? It affects my vision kasi if Its dirty. I park in an open space in the office.

Lastly. Is my regimen ok? optiseal every 3mos then carwash every week and spray wax (meguiars) right after the wash then monthly carnauba 47S every 2mos.

Again, I dont have a covered garage. TIA

Hi, question lang po. A week old pa lang yung car (white) ko. Magabok at naambunan rin exterior. First time ko lilinisin at ayaw ko sana magasgasan. Thank you!

    From the other thread:

Even without a car cover, your car will still have swirl marks due to car washing. You can't avoid it and you can't avoid washing your car. Once a microfiber towel wipes your car as you clean and dry it, you'll have swirl marks. Guaranteed with 10 years warranty. LOL! Much worse if you have it washed at your neighborhood carwash as their towels are dirty from washing hundreds of cars. 99.9999999% of all cars on the road have swirl marks. See for yourself when you are stuck in traffic or at the parking lot and count how many cars have swirl marks. The remaining percentage without swirls are those cars newly buffed and detailed. The only way to prevent or minimize swirls is touchless carwash method. Just YouTube it.

Car covers should have a soft cotton lining rather than a bare one. It will be much expensive, but it will minimize swirl marks and scratches. But, before you put on the car cover, make sure your car is clean, free from dust and dirt. When you don't clean your car, dirt will get trapped in between the car cover and the paint which will cause swirl marks as it moves about like sandpaper. Also, make sure your car cover doesn't even touch the ground as it will pick up dirt and scratch your car.

Reference: Experience and former OCD. LOL!

And, NO. Even if you have a covered garage, your car will still get dirty. Try to leave it for 1 week and run your fingers. It will be covered with black dust from blown dirt outside.

Unless your living room is big enough, you can park your car there without any problems. LOL!
