Ano ba magandang wash and wax. I have seen brands like Armor, Micro Magic, Simoniz, Mothers, Formula 1. Ano ba okay?

newbie question po...
Got lots of swirls and light scratches sa Advie ko which is just 1 mo old. dahil sa nag carwash sakin 3 silang nagkakagulo sa sasakyan ko. isang carwash boy, isang babaeng taga tanggap ng bayad tsaka yung babaeng may ari na tumulong lang na gumamit ng yellow na basahan na ginagamit sa sahig. This is Protech sa Cainta. yung babaeng tagatanggap ng bayad tinukuran pa yung dulo ng hood kase di nya abot yung windshield.
back to topic
it is ok na pa detail sya, i have a friend na may detailing shop.
He told me we can do it step by step kung saan mawawala yung scratches also protect the clear coat.
They also detail my wife's 9 - year old Advie, ganda ng texture even you wipe it dry no swirls parang dumudulas lang.
I also want that protection with my advie, then ako nalang mag mamaintain using the things I've learned here.
I worrying kase sa clear coat eh...

Depende sa lalim sir. If di masyado malalim makukuha sya ng polish. If medyo malalim, marereduce lang itsura nya.
hi tanong ko lang po if may naka try na sa inyong gumamit ng AGUA DE AGLAIA spray wax? Ano ang masasabi niyo sa shine and protection?
Kung car shampoo na wash and wax, pwede na yung Turtle Wax. But it's not a direct replacement sa wax talaga. After mo mag car wash, it's still recommended to wax, as in wax and buff. Mothers, Meguiars, Eagle One, TW Platinum tsaka TW Ice and magagandang brands.
Ok lang naman pa-detail sa mga detailing shop. The question is kung anung materials and gamit nila sa pag apply ng chemicals tsaka pang buff. Hand-applied or buffing machine. Hindi masisira ang clear coat sa simpleng clay+polish+wax na hand-applied. Ingat lang pag ginamitan na ng buffing machine tapos gagamitan pa ng rubbing compound.
Detailing (wash-clay-polish-wax-buff), unless aggresive rubbing compound is used, will simply hide light scratches and swirl marks from the naked eye. It will NOT remove scratches.
Ang pranela ay simpleng basahan na iba iba ang kulay at hindi dapat ginagamit na pang car wash / pang wax / pang buff dahil magagasgas sasakyan mo at magkakaron ng swirl marks.
For car washing and buffing, the best pa din microfiber. For polish / wax application, the best pa rin ang microfiber o kaya foam applicator.
If I'm not mistaken, this wax is ester-based..essentially carnauba so is should be good. In terms of protection, like many other spray waxes, it should give you temporary shine and protection (less than a month maybe) for between-wash applications. But nothing will beat the good 'ol hand-applied paste or liquid wax.
Personally, I would skip the spray wax and do the paste/liquid wax and detailer routine.
Chenille gloves, not the one from ACE hardware
The elastic part for the wrist deteriorates over time, becomes bacon and a sandy material comes off it. Roll this part between thumb and index fingers to find out. Cut it off and spray and wash thoroughly. Just a heads up to avoid the irony of scratching the paint while detailing.
Btw, I keep hearing Klasse pronounced as "Class-say" everywhere (as if it were french).![]()
As Klasse is German, the correct pronunciation as many say is "Class-uh". Then again, I'm pretty sure anybody reading this would try pronouncing it and then diss it as "ugly" and go back to the usual "Class-say" or "Class". I actually pronounce it as "Class-se".
Why not "Class-say"? It's because "Class-ay" is the reserved as my pronunciation of my home audio amplifier made by hi-end Canadian manufacturer Classé Audio :naughty2:

1. Compounding is just too abrasive just to remove those "impurities" and too much abrasive friction is damaging to the paint.
2. If that's simply "libag" or dust accumulation (I drive a white car), your best bet is to get a dedicated cleaner like KAIO which would brighten the paint considerably. There's already a pretty visible difference on using a cleaner on a 4-month old white car pano na kung years yun difference!
3. You don't really make "kuskos" there because in most cases you're merely inducing hairline scatches - this is also the reason why we recommend people not to put pressure while shampooing the car.
4. Nanoglos has super light cleaners. You aren't supposed to go "whitening" the car using it. It's primary function is to act as a synthetic wax to protect the car rather than to clean it.
5. If you're serious in restoring the exterior, kindly do an entire detailing regimen depending on the car's paint condition. Wash -> Clay -> Compound/Polish -> Cleaner -> Wax/Sealant.
As mentioned, a paint cleaner will do the job - KAIO, Carlack NSC, Optimum Poli-Seal, or either of the step 1s from Mothers (Pre-Wax Cleaner/Pure Polish) or Meguiar's (Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner) will work.
How do you take good care of your car exterior expecially this rainy season?
