It isn't practical to buy KAIO just to remove impurities since one "can" would last you 2-3 years. It's pretty pricey though at 2000php. A better option would be to simply avail of your suking detailer's services. This way, you can "clean" the paint every quarterly while you use Nanoglos on a DIY weekly maintenance basis.

Possibly one of the most sulit 800 pesos you'll ever buy!

Out of Collinite's lineup, I only use 845 and the Sapphire Wax Cleaner. This is on the basis that the 467, although durable, is hard to remove while the 915's "carnauba" wax usual increase in depth and richness is useless on my white paint.

Ano po marecommend nyong wax na cheaper sa Collinite, etc? Ask ko na din guys ano magandang pantanggal ng minor scratches? Yung mga scratches is either galing sa car cover or may sumandal sa gilid.

Salamat boss. Will try to use this insulator wax. Wala kasi kaming garage eh so I thought baka okay to as protection since half lang ng auto ko na-cocover.

Well, there are quite some waxes out there that are cheaper than Collinite. However, the only one equal sa Collinite when it comes to price-durability (and that's easily purchasable too) is the Klasse Twins combo.

Removal of minor scratches? Polish. However, scatches will eventually form again after you even them out so it's a fruitless battle. My tip is simply to accumulate them and polish quarterly or something. Also, you may opt to purchase a glaze to "fill" the scratches. My bottle of Microtex Nanosil does this well enough on a hand-basis, results would be fantastic via machine application though! Take note that most waxes "hide" scratches to a certain extent so just the practice of waxing alone might help ;)

Curious ako sa nanosil eh. I want to buy one pero dont know how to properly use it. Does it com first after you wash the car or after waxing?

Hmm, assuming the typical Collinite regimen, it'll be wash -> Nanosil -> Collinite -> Nanosliq/OCW. Hand-application isn't bad but to get the best out of it you'll need a machine.

None at Tru Value? There's also the Carlack combo that's the same with Klasse, just in case you chance upon them.

The thing about Nanoglos is just that just that it has very light cleaners. It doesn't even do even 80% of the job of your typical cleaner. White isn't white "enough" unless you've seen what a dedicated cleaner does.

If you're cash-strapped for KAIO, go for Collinite's Sapphire Wax. That way it cleans and protects (so it's a 1-step detail) na rin. I'm not sure of the prices though and you'd need a machine for it to work best. Check your suking detailer since William's Bluemile in Gilmore Ave. typically charges me around 800php for Wash + Clay + Sapphire + 845 on a 15% standard discount (pays to have connections :naughty2

I think Step 1 of Mothers should be at that price range.

Mother's/Meguiar's Step 1 are pre-wax cleaners. Hmmm, your post count is ten times mine already. Which section in the forums have you been frequently helping out the tsikoteers?

Paolo, just to help you out of swirls, keep the detailing tools free from dust/sand/dirt. They're better off on a clean surface/container and not on the floor. The oxidation removal may be attributed to your mf pad and arm power.

You got a lot of good advice from the previous posts.

Does anybody know where to source a medium strength clay bar for paolo under 500 PHp?

Always test the whole process you've formulated on a small area. When you're satisfied with the time and effort used to get your needed results from a particular method, then go for the whole car. SwirlX or the stronger ScratchX by starting out light handed. Don't over exert the rubbing, ever.
