April 19th, 2011 05:25 PM #313KAIO = Klasse All In One - chemical paint cleaner with a little sealant
476 = Collinite 476 - carnauba paste wax with very good durability
You can get KAIO (or rather Carlack Nano Systematic Care - same product, just different labelling) from Big Berts. Best to get it with Klasse Sealant Glaze (Carlack Long Life Sealant) - they're made to work together. The distributor of Collinite in the Philippines is Jerome of Autobisyo - try searching for Autobisyo to get his contact info. Alternatively, sir Ed of pinoydetailing might also have both products available.

quarterly kasi mag apply ng kaio + ksg, then top off ng wax (either carnauba or reflections) then top off again ng ocw.
e plano ko pag weekly wash e mag apply ng either carnauba or reflections or nanaglos then top off ocw or nanosliq or reflections quick detailer...
diko lang alam magandang combo pag quarterly and weekly...medyo madami kasi akong different products so gusto ko lang mag mix and match for better results...

April 19th, 2011 11:12 PM #316Hehe, to be honest, I've no idea - I never leave the paint alone long enough to be able to test product durability. My maintenance regimen looks like this:
quarterly - Klasse twins
every 6 weeks - 845
every 3 weeks - OCW
every wash - Reflections spray wax or Nanosliq (depende sa mood ko)
between washes - OID or ONR QD as needed
I actually think I'm re-applying product sooner than needed, but my car is parked outside when I'm home and is covered with dew every morning, so I err towards caution.

April 19th, 2011 11:22 PM #317Hmmm... depends on the carnauba you're applying. If it's one of the Collinites (476/845/915), then putting OCW on top would be ok. However, most other carnaubas generally have less durability than OCW - I'd actually think about placing the other wax after OCW. Also, OCW is more than durable enough to last over 2 weeks - applying weekly might be wasting product. How about applying OCW monthly, then using the other waxes in between?

April 20th, 2011 12:18 AM #319Hehe, gusto ko rin actually malaman yung totoong durability nung ginagamit ko - di ko lang talaga kaya iwan yung kotse that long
Might need to get a test panel...
Actually got the Optiguard program from Big Berts - wala pa kasi akong alam sa detailing nung binili ko yung carIn hindsight, I'd have done better to just buy the twins and apply myself.
I think wala naman problem by hand application - magiging issue lang would be how thinly you can apply KSG, and I'm sure kaya sya with just a bit of practice. I'm thinking that it should be somewhat similar to applying 845 by hand, which I've been learning to do so very very thinly - one good tip I've applied is if you're not sure if there's still any product on your applicator, swipe it on your window to check. You'll more easily see the streaks then. Advantage of doing it yourself is that you can then layer KSG, which I've read can really add to durability and to looks.
