baka nga makalito, yes, no need to buff. sprayable pa sya. remember Umi's post reference from DW a page ago, 20 nanometers lang ang average thickness na maiiwan na wax layer. 6nm ang bawas kada buffing session nya. at kung todo sagad sa buffing, 6nm din ang naiwan sa testing nya. durability na lang ang usapin sa mga waxes. so don't hesitate to spread it as thinly as you can.

guys, how have you dealt with the etched watermarks/waterspots on your waxed car?

with OCW, one spray for most panels. 1.5 sa hood at 2 sa roof. and pag medyo "soaked" na yung MF... pwede na yun na ipang punas sa mga minor areas like pillars, side mirrors, etc.

liquid gold eh. hehe.

I've experienced watermarks that ate through at least 3 layers of protection. (sealant+476+booster). A non-abrasive (chemical-based, clearcoat safe) cleaner wax worked. So did claying... But your sealant and wax will come off.

right, all those layers gone to rid of the watermarks. that or run out the parking lot after a drizzle and dry the car before the sun does it for you. It's enough to make people apprehensive of the rain.

I just tried my hands on "detailing" my car last night and boy was it exhausting! What I did was wash the car, dry, clean the glass with glass scrub and apply rain clear, clean the carpet, apply protectant, apply tire black and apply 476s. Took me over 6 hours to finish all this! kakapagod pala, parang gusto na matanggal kamay ko. Pass midnight na ako natapos, kaya sorry walang pictures.

Nagkamali pa ako, apply ng 476s sa buong roof tapos pagbuff na ang hirap kasi natuyo na. Ok lang kaya wax on wax off yung 476s, pareho lang kapit? Also, pano matanggal yung mga tumama sa black plastic trims ko? napansin ko kaninang umaga na namuti yung black trims dahil sa wax, lousy tuloy tingnan.

bale sinasabay ko yung pag punas ng trims ...after ko mag-linis ng interior...

sir arjay, try mo muna sponge with joy sa trims, if this fails, punasan mo ng degreaser.

as of now may 2 approaches sa 476:
1) wax-on, wax-off na panel by panel
2) leave overnight tapos buff early in the morning

personally ang ginagamit ko yung #1 kasi ang tigas talaga ng 476

saya ng detailing no? nakakainis lang talaga pag umulan ulet. haha. pag umulan enjoy mo yung beading

share ko experience ko sa OCW, very nice beading & shine... just don't let it dry on the surface, and spread with mf towel until it's dry and shiny... and instead of spraying directly on the surface, spray it on the mf towel and apply evenly... better have an extra dry mf towel to buff it after...

Try niyo gamitin sir yung Microtex Suede na MF towel hindi siya super absorbenta kagaya ng ibang towels kaya madaling ma spread yung OCW at less waste. Yung sobra pwede pang apply sa mga glass and side mirrors.

what color ba yun, violet?

gurus of Optimum instance detailer, yung nabili ko kasi kay ravi eh yung nasa spray bottle na nya mismo.. kelangan pa ba ng dillution yun o hindi na?
