bought NanoSliq today..and WOW. Much better than Zymol. Very "Slick" and cool to the touch.

also I got armorall window treatment for the windows of the car. lots of smudges. and it seems to do the job very well.

and found a half inch scratch on the driver's door..probably due to a loose pebble that was flying while driving on the road. I tried using nanogloss..no avail. i might just have it fixed at Big Berts when i go there next year for my paint protect.

try running your fingernail over the scratch, if it "hits a bump"... no amount of polishing will remove the scratch

masarap talaga haplusin ang kotseng naka nanosliq... it's just so hard to not make it streak... but it's really good for dark cars - deepens and darkens the color.

Hirap din ako magpakintab ng silvers, yung red ko konting wax lang ay wet look na agad yun eh. Pero doon sa aking silver ay slickness at water beading na lang ang habol ko.

I remember reading somewhere here that for silver and white, Collinite Sapphire Liquid Wax is one of the better choices to bring out the shine

Newbie lang sir on detailing, ask ko lang po ano po ang magandang pagkasunod sunod nito...ang mga gamit ko na po kasi is turtle wax carnauba (paubos na tira lang), nano gloss and nano sliq, microtex shampoo.
tama po ba na nano gloss>nano sliq>carnauba?
ilang hours po pagitan nila? or hope you can advice po magandang combination ng wax for the nano gloss and nano sliq. bibili na din kasi ako dahil paubos n ung TW carnauba ko.
By the way plan ko po sana magpaoptiguard this jan sa BB, and I wonder kung ano magandang maintenance for it? nano gloss and sliq po ba ok n? weekly or monthly?
Last question po, for the sun shield po ba is good for all the interior including the rubber sa mga window? thanks a lot mga sir's. Hope you can help me on my query, sabik na din kasi ako magdetail e, mas ok talaga pag kaw magaalaga ng husto sa kotse mo.hehe! ty po ulit.

you need to practice/learn the correct way of washing your car . 2 bucket system and good set of washing materials ( wash mitt , shampo , drying towel , microfiber cloths ).

Hi sir nejgnome87!

1) best to avoid turtle wax products, meron daw silang abrasives, lalo na yung liquid wax.

2) if you can, try to get a collinite wax. available sya sa autobisyo. 476 for durability, 915 for looks.

3)yung curing time ng waxes and sealants is usually 8 hours. ang rule of thumb is dapat yung pinaka durable ang nasa ilalim, at hindi pwedeng patungan ang product na merong oil...

so usually ang nangyayari: sealant (kunwari klasse or carlack) or nanoglos (para narin syang glaze) - 8 hours - wax - 8 hours - liquid wax

ang nanoglos pwede patungan kasi wala syang oil...

4)regarding optiguard, sini-seal nila ang kotse mo. gamit ng BB e klasse na sealant. pwede mo siya patungan 8 hours after nila sabihin na pwede ka na umalis.

5) maintenance over the sealant: okay lang naman ang nanoglos at nanosliq, pero isa o dalawang ulan lang kasi tanggal na yung mga yan. yung collinite 476 mas matibay, umaabot ng up to 3 weeks sa weather natin, or kahit mga 7 or 8 na washes, buhay pa yung wax!

6)yung nanosliq, liquid wax na rin yan pala. hehe. kung tinatamad ka magwax, pwede gamitin yung sliq ng stand alone

7)yep, maganda sunshield for the interior. para sa exterior trim, try mo gamitin yung microtex tireblack

just remember yung 2 bucket method during washing, tapos try mo makakuha ng microfiber washmitt (tulad nung sa microtex), and ng drying cloth or chamois na hindi rubber (...tulad nung sa microtex. hehe)
