jmpet, medyo madami yata gamit mo Ang technique ko for spraying OCW is slow squeeze, and while squeezing, swipe your spray over the area (ex., left to right). You just need a very light mist over the area you intend to wax.

For example, sa isang door ko, one spray across the top half, and another spray on the bottom half. Make sure lang na as your squeeze, you also move your hand so that the your squeeze will last the entire left to right movement. Gets ba? Ang hirap i-describe... hehe. Tingnan ko kung makagawa ako ng video

up with this one, thats what we also do, it all boils down on how you move you hands when you spray to ensure maximum coverage, even when using QD you don't have to use that much

My first can of 476 is almost empty. Now, I'm thinking of whether I'll get another one or buy 915 instead. Aside from the price(700 vs 1800 ), does anyone know their differences in terms of performance? Which one's better for black cars? Thanks!

definitely 915 is better, wetter and darker, also the shine lasts longer compared to 476 which beads longer but the shine sort of flattens after some time

ano ba difference ng collonite waxes -- 476, 845 and 915? ano mas maganda gamitin as pure wax (no cleaners) na weekly ang application kasi monthly naman ang application ko ng carlack twins e so gagawin kong in between the carlack twins itong collonite and ocw but then ano maganda na collonite product kasi 3 yan e.

476 and 845 are both basically the same, 476 being the paste version and also lasts about twice longer and 845 being the liquid version being less durable but easier to apply, basically looks wise they're both the same, 476 = hard to apply and PITA to remove but lasts really long, 845 liquid version = easy to apply, easy to remove, good for addicted to waxing and less just about half of 476

915 is on a different ball game in terms of looks, this baby easily wins over 476 and 845 two hands down and the durability doesn't go far down from 476 its nearly at par, basically what sets 915 apart from both collinite waxes is that the shine lasts longer

dbhollanda: Overkill yung monthly application ng Carlack Twins. Remember light polish din yung Nano-Systematic care.

Dapat every 3 months tulad ng Bigbert's Optiguard Paint Protection Program.

Its overkill because even with BB's Optiguard being suggested every 3 months you are also putting on a carnauba on top every other week or monthly meaning if you put Carlack twins every 3 months that should already be enough, but since you putting on waxes every month or every other week this would mean you're very concerned about your car's paint but putting carlack twins every month is taking it way over what is necessary

SG after ng collinite application ba mean hugas na lang with shampoo or water lang then punas punas di kaya matanggal lets say nagpacarwash ka na nagamit ng foam

if the 915 would be removed from the wash process it will not be caused by the soap in the foam it would be the improper technique used by car washes around the metro, have you ever seen any foam type car wash around that also uses the two bucket method to remove the dirt and grits they remove from the paint? basically what they do it just push it around and hope the foam lubricated it enough to not scratch or marr the paint which in not what happens to most cases, improper washing technique as this could deplete any waxes or sealants ability to perform and protect due to the harsh nature the paint is being washed, its like they are being scoured out of the paint, but once done properly 915 would lasts a lot of washes because as SG said its detergent proof and it really is based on how many member here can attest to it

parang di nama over kill yung weekly wax.... I used to wax 3 parts of my car weekly.... using FLEET....

I just use Megs UQW, Finish Kare 425, OGE between regular wax applications of about a month or so apart. Weekly waxing is not only expensive and time consuming but also unecessary especially if you have top wax/sealant brands already on. But if waxing weekly will put a huge smile on someone's face then, wax on!

Sa akin mga 2 weeks yung roof. note that also 1 leave the wax overnight before buffing. ganda ng beading

I think I have to soak it in lukewarm water before the vinegar. Pero I think yung medyo sa nakakapasong tubig ko na siya ibababad since matagal-tagal ng tuyo yung wax sa MFs.

Hi! Newbie here, ask ko lang po where to buy those Collinite, OCW, SwirlX that were mentioned in this thread. What combo would you recommend for bringing out the shine and detail of my car and to maintain it . Honda Civic '08, black. I currently use Simoniz Diamond Hard Wax once a week. I think I have to soak it in lukewarm water before the vinegar. Pero I think yung medyo sa nakakapasong tubig ko na siya ibababad since matagal-tagal ng tuyo yung wax sa MFs.

bat kaya ganon. ako kasi di na nga ako nagbababad sa lukewarm water e. ganto procedure ko...

- wash with water (faucet lang)
- laba with soap
- banlaw
- babad sa vinegar mix with water for 30 min. every 15 min turnover ko naman...

so far super lambot lahat ng MF ko...as in parang bago lahat...
