Yung color yellow sya na 16x16 towels.Eto na gami ko pang buff off ng wax no swirls so far at walang naiiwang fibers unlike sa plush na may naiiwan pa. SInce mura lang siya madaling palitan pag nanigas na yung fibers.

the color of my car is silver-beige. I used a soft terry cloth on the application. Should I use something else? i believe the swirls being left was caused by the cloth i used, or I maybe wrong. Not so sure.

take pictures of a scratch. work 3mASR with an MF/foam applicator pad til it clears or almost dries. repeat til the scratch is corrected. take pictures of that area showing whatever remaining blemish you see. you should omit it if it really doesn't work for you.
I think the product works well. The targeted fine scratch was gone but are left with finer scratches/swirls, similar to "cobweb" effect. Is that normal for a 3m auto scratch remover to do?

how do you look for the swirls? i mean what light do you use and how.

use the terry cloth with soap on a small area, rinse, dry and check before and after. if it induced swirls, don't use it on paint. just use microfiber.

it's not normal cos i used it a few times without those issues. have you found the areas untouched by your cloth without the swirls like those of the treated area?

    pictures would help.

oops, i forgot about the cd test. rub your cloth on a scratch-free underside of a cd and see if the cloth scratches it.

    Hi detailers

Ano tamang gamitin pang buff ng wax, cleaner wax, sealant...etc

"Plushy microfiber or psedo butas-butas microfiber(yung square na bako bako)

After using pwede pa ba mahugasan ito at gamitin ulit or disposable na once malagyan ng wax?

MF Plush ang pang buff... You can wash it for re-use

    paps, sakin ONR gamit ko..

45 ml : 1 liter of purified water

as for the session, for me tuwing magzero out ako...and that would mean quarterly...
(newbie lang po ako sa layering and bonding ha kaya opinion ko lang ito) kasi very harsh environment natin kaya feeling ko madali matanggal agad ang wax and sealant and ma-contaminate yung paint..

wait for natin opinion ng mga sophomores and experts..hehe

I know right sir. I was talking about the 200 Pesos difference. Kaya ako namamahalan kasi they're giving the lls to me for 1600, while you only got it for 1400.

Haha ganyan din ako nung unang gamit ko ng swirlx bro. Pang minor corrections lang kasi yan. Pero maaapreciate mo rin yan pagtagal. Pwede mo siya gamitin sa mga watermarks at light swirls. In the end, may gamit parin naman.

Bro, would you mind posting a a pic of what you're working on? Para makabigay gurus natin ng tips. =)

Kabibili ko lang ng suka, SM Bonus Vinegar.

Mahal kasi nung Heinz na distilled eh. I hope mag work naman itong SM Vinegar na to hehehe.

Question: Since 1 liter binili ko para sure na rin, kailangan ba as in sa pure vinegar lang ibababad yung MF cloths? Bawal i-dilute ng konti sa tubig?

they are visible during night time where I use the flourescent light of the garage to reflect on the paint. The swirls, however, are not visible during daytime even at any angle.

Also, I'll try to post some pics later if I can find a decent angle where it would be visible.

Thanks for the help guys. :-)

Oh. I forgot to mention this,

I think I have used 3M Auto Scratch Remover often on some spot treatment, and I have the feeling that I abraded much of the layer of the clear coat (or I may be just paranoid). If you must know, I used a light pressure on the application.

Should I provide a new layer of clear coat on those spot treatments? Or is the application of wax enough to seal the cured clear coat?

sir indiej, the best lights to use are:

    1)xenon bulbs
    2)LED lamps

    Guys,

Ever since I've been using Meguiars NXT car wash shampoo. Medyo paubos na siya so I'm thinking, meron ba alternative na shampoo sa Meguairs NXT that is cheaper but delivers the same quality? Thanks.

very well then. it is easy enough to spot them. cobwebs you said.

if it's always on the same spot, be careful next time. you'll know it's the base coat when your polish applicator gets the color of your car. you may just glaze instead of abrading the topcoat.

yes wax protects the clear coat. slip in UV protection and you're gonna be fine.

a new layer of clear coat is great if it's convenient for you. 3-4 months 3m Imperial Hand Glaze before you can really detail. i'm gearing up to be able to do this.
