*Hardinero, thanks for mentioning carnauba cleaner. i found one in the old stock and tried it on dried water spots from the beading of 476s. It worked wonderfully. it took more effort and pressure with a QD & MF and was not entirely convincing.

TWCC was waxed on foam applicator then wiped off with a short napped MF towel. a few light passes in WOWO, it was effortless and effective. later on i'll get a proper cleaner wax for Collinites.

paps, is carnauba cleaner won't strip your 476? what nga pala yung proper cleaner wax for collinites mas ok kasi gamitin yung native product nya para bond properly talaga no..

para yung cleaner carnuaba ko eh pang tanggal ko na lang acid rain..thanks for sharing din paps kasi last time ginamitan ko ng vinegar eh...mali pala yun..

layering multiple sealant won't really guarantee you a perfect finish from the elements, check out my post last december when i had a multiple layer of sealants 2 layers m-seal and 2 layers KSG topped with 2 layers 915 and blitz acrylic spray sealant as topper, after i finished that setup i went to canyon woods feeling like nothing would harm my paint, then comes those pine tree saps that really etched into my paint, now if you think of it, i had a total of 7 layers all cured properly and boosted with polycharger and the tree saps still etched through, kinda hurts right? all the effort down the drain? thats why im telling you guys to keep it simple, 2 is enough, 2 more of another sealant would be great but if time is a problem with layering multiple layers then why work against time right? why not just apply it more frequently? all im saying is, if time and schedule really makes layering hard for you then just change your routine, you really don't have to do multiple layers especially since you're waxing already every week

won't TWCC strip 476s? maybe i can tell in a few weeks. did it strip 476s a little? maybe a little cos the water spots are gone. i just lightly ran the foam then waxed off. i think it's Collinite Sapphire Auto Wax but it could be a stronger wax cleaner.

sealants require considerable time and effort to be effective (6 months protection in favorable conditions) hence my concern and wish to lessen the frequency of their application. i wouldn't sweat it with waxes.

what madkatz said, there are just some natural substances that can etch through paint that need to be cleaned off the surface asap to avoid damage. no layer of any product can withstand it, the clearcoat sure can't withstand it.

bird droppings here and there is ok, but if a week of sun-dried water beads does that, i better invest more on paint refinishing, say the next few 10Ts Php after 20T of detailing products.

guys this week eto plan ko..

suggestion guys before ko gawin para isang pasada lang hehe..

wash - remove asphalt - clay - swirlx - megs step2 - Carlack68 NSC - carlack68 LLS (12 hrs curing time kasi gagamitin kinabukasan) - LLS again after gamitin yung auto (wash muna before LLS)

aayusin ko na pag buff nung LLS para 2 application lang..

by this week sana maka bili na ako kay master ng 476s

    Nik

please make sure to wash off your asphalt remover
delete claying and megs step 2.

insert IPA after swirlx. For 70% Isopropyl alchohol, a 2:1 mix alcohol and water will do. spray the panel then wipe carefully with MF.

    ms madkatz,

    1) for drying i'm using jelly blade muna para mabawasan yung tubig before ko i-wipe dry..

would jelly blade cause swirl marks and can strip wax

    2) which is better between the two wash mitts yung sm arnold or microtex? yung microtex eto yung bilog bilog yung strand nya diba...

    thanks,
    hardinero

VERY wise advice, as i just recently learned myself. A month ago, I put on a total of 5 layers of Zaino products on my black car. A week ago, I left the car in the dealership for an oil change. At the same time, I went out of town and came back three days later to pick it up. Que horror! the once china-smooth paint was now as rough as fine sandpaper. My skin made a horrible raspy sound when I swiped my palm over the paint. The wiper made a horrible sound on the windshield, too! I washed the car, but it didn't remove the surface contaminants.

So I had to CLAY the car. And all those 5 layers of the month-old Zaino came off! And to think I was planning to keep it there for 4 to 6 months!

I only reapplied 2 coats this time. Lesson learned.
