    I would suggest Elevo Watermark Remover. It's P280 only and you can find it in your favorite hardware stores. Just be careful in using this and be sure to wear gloves (the package says so) because this is an acid I think, judging from the smell.

    Alright! Thanks for the clarification.
    That would be a cheap alternative to removing waterspots on the windshield, but thats just for moderate to light, for heavy duty ones you actually need to use a Glass Polishing Compound, and yeah the Elevo uses acid in their kit as with glass polishing compound, actually nearly all water mark removal system incorporates acid to remove water marks its just a matter of how strong the acid is, if you've tried the acid for aluminum brightener the one i think you guys used on the engine detail, you actually use the same acid for Glass Polishing

    i'll first try chicks suggestion, if not you might need a glass polishing compound, don't use rubbing compound it can cause visual problems
