Turtle Wax is a brand name. Carnauba wax is a kind of wax extracted from a leaf. Synthetic wax is, well synthetic.

i just bought my 1st car 2 months ago... gusto ko rin sya i-maintain... since may mga mafe-feel na ako na rough areas esp sa lower portion i want to clay it...

If you can purchase the claybar only from MOMSPH that would be a better choice. Or you can get the claybar from Bigberts, 750 benta nila, Erazer brand.

Glass Cleaner - TW Clearview or EO 20/20?

Either of the two works, just make sure walang amonia. Alam ko yung Eagle One wala, not sure with Turtle Wax.

Sealant - hindi ko pa alam, sana may Eagle One na sealant para mas mura

If you can find the time to visit any megs outlet you might be able to purchase the #20 in "tingi" packages. Alam ko sa Kamias meron.

yung car shampoo ko yung was and wax ng polyglaze... sayang naman... uubusin ko muna bago ako munili ng bigberts... late ko na kasi nabasa na hindi pala ganun kaganda yun...

ok ba gamitin yung 3M swirl remover kahit 2 mo-old palang car ko? may swirls na kasi eh

archererwin, sana ganyan ka parin ka alaga sa car, let's say after a year suggest ko na pa optiguard or PPP mo sa bigberts para at least every quarter ay maintained/detailed ang car mo...

sabihin mo kay mazdamazda bigyan ka ng ibang detailing stuffs niya..

After using your clay, how do you clean it before storing it?

Ako kasi I just remove whatever small particles I can remove and that's about it, I don't rinse it with water.

So how do you clean your clay for storage?

over the weekend i have bought the mothers clay bar and scratch remover. i already clayed my car and smooth na yung surface... thanks for all your help! ngayon nalululong na rin ako... :D

i have some more questions for my next shopping spree... hehehe

1. i saw in true value that meguires and mothers both have a 3-step products. what is the diff between the 2. megs is more expensive than moms, does it follow that it's also better? anong mas ok?

2. what is the diff between moms cleaner wax and yung pre-wax cleaner (step1), hindi muna ako bumili nung step 1 kasi parang pareho lang. tama ba?

thanks! BTW, i went to bigberts last saturday. i bought the shampoo and 2 pcs of red microtex. hindi ko lang alam kung si theveed yung nagbenta sa akin. 2 kasi sila naka polo ng light yellow eh.

Here's what I know and it's not much

Cleaner-Wax - is a wax with cleaner/cleaning properties. It protects your paint from the elements.

Pre-wax cleaner - is a mild polish and does not have protective properties. It removes old waxes and preps your paint for the Stage 2 & 3.

Gurus paki korek na lang po.

Cleaner wax is bs.waste of money. All you need is clay(surface prep)second step, polish to remove the swirl marks and light scratches and for final step wax or sealer.Use 100% terry cloth or microfiber.I highly recommend using a random orbital buffer for beginner.

another question po. yung step 2 ng moms yung sealer and glaze, sealant ba talaga yun or glaze lang?
