*jmpet626: i haven't tried it on wheels but i've had great success with body panels, but you could try this http://www.autopia-carcare.com/realwhda.html my BF sent me that link but i laughed at his first attempt on repairing his curb gash but don't let that stop you from trying, what i recommended was mainly for paint chips and short deep scratches hehe, as for the sandpaper any water-proof sandpaper would do, i got my 1500 and 2000 from Ace, i forgot where i got my 2500 and 3000 but i think its from either Handyman or from some paint store. if you are planning on just filling the chips, nicks and deep scratches then you can start with 1500 grit, but if you're planning on doing an area, this is when you might want to go down to 600 grit for the paint to stick, this is usually done by DIY'ers that have their own air compressor and spraygun.
