sa mga gumagamit ng DA polishers.... anu pong voltage ratings ng mga DA nyu? 110? 220? kung 110 po, ginagamitan nalang po ng step-down transformer?

hmm that would depend on the polisher you are using, are you using the pc 7424? xp or not xp? since polishers are considered power tools yes it is advisable to use a step down transformer between 1 to 2k watts

Hey detailing gods, I've been asking a lot of questions 'round here..thanks ulit sir Chikselog). nakaka-guilty kasi 'pag nakikita iyan pinaggagawa niyo! )

Anyway, my car's pretty new so I want to maintain that new look and at the same time protect the paint. Lagi kasi nabibilad sa araw, hindi covered parking sa university! Hassle. Anoy kaya marerecommend niyong washing/waxing process sirs? White 'un color btw.

Well, its great to see that you have the right enthusiasm to learn about detailing, but if i were you, i would recommend you just attend the detail seminar if it pushes thru, that way people can see and refer the best product for your paint/car, and that way you learn a lot about procedures and products and techniques.

Black and decker wp1300k sa Ace Hardware 4995 pwede 0% installment for 3 months and 2 years warranty. Kaso need mo pa ng backing plate para sa Pads. Plano ko din bumili ng rotary pero hanap muna ako ng 5.5 or 6 inch backing plate ang meron karamihan kasi 7 inches na.

Meron ako nakita sa sulit around 3k siya JC kawasaki yung brand and 6 months lang warranty

Don't be shy, just think of it this way, he actually gets paid by certain detaling shops to teach their detailers for up to 3k per day, and think about it, that you are getting it for free so would you let this opportunity pass? Hahaha, he really just wants to help take better care of their cars, he's really not into the money

Next when he sets up a detailing seminar all the machines and products needed are already there, you don't have to bring anything since its already all there, we only suggest you bring the type of product you want to learn how to use properly, lets say you just got a collinite or a polisher or a glaze, we could better help you if you bring it along, then again we already have those on hand.

Nagaalangan kasi ako baka masira lang 'un new exterior ng auto instead of making it look better. :?

Is there anything else that I need to know? Like How long should I let the wax dry before buffing it?

NXT VS Step 3 would depend on a lot of factors, like NXT is better for darker vehicles and for rainy season, Step 3 is better for red and yellow and light blue cars and its more economical

Collinite is available locally, if you are attending the upcoming detail seminar you might be able to buy some from my BF which is an authorized reseller, or the actual distributor might also be there, we're hoping to get either the distributor of Microtex or Collinite to be there and hopefully help us with the seminar.

As for the do's and don'ts i'll see if i have enough energy to do a write up, im drained from teaching my little brother how to swim.

OT ata: saan kaya pwede makabili ng rotary buffer locally MM? puro sander at grinder lang ang nakikita ko e. yun na lang dadalhin ko sa eb pagnakabili hehehe

You could find rotary buffers from industrial hardware stores, its the wp1300 is 5k in ace, don't buy that, thats too much, i could even get you a brand new set complete with the needed backing plate for only 4.3k, 5k for the buffer set alone it too over priced

Actually you don't have to bring those two, we already have the counterparts for those 2, actually bringing an old neglected car that still has enough clear coat to work on would already be a great contribution, its easier to teach detailing with a neglected paint finish to work on, so if you have an old car that would be a great contribution already hehehe, same goes for those other people attending

wtf!!!!! matanong lang po...ilang oras ba yong wash and wax nyo? kasi ako mga 3hrs plus yan. kaya ngayon every 2 washes na ako bago ma wa-wax di gaya noon every wash.

sir, sa sobrang dami ng putik, dinala ko nalang sa bigbert's yung pickup.

normally it takes me 2 hours to wash, dry, then wax it. hehe.

jagtemp: Kailangan mo din ng carnauba cleaner wax. Kahit every 2 months mo lang gamitin kasi white ang Tucson iX mo

Tama si madkatz, sa kanila ka nalang bumili ng Collinite waxes. Yung sapphire auto wax yung para sa light colored cars.

i do not have a DA Polisher.... yet hehehe. i'm just checking what power requirements i have to consider if i decide to get one.

i still have to decide on the porter cable 7424xp or the megs g110v2 or the g220v2(i read in the megs forums that this should come out by mid march there is still no word regarding this). i think the megs DA's are not available directly in the local market so i still have to check how i can get these.
