alternatives sa S100 ngayon? Soft99 Gold. ok din Megs #16 but phased out na sya. locally available products? hmm Mom's pwede... (honestly, malayo na sya once you see S100 in action.. check out Black Magic's pics ng Accord nya with S100)
ganda talaga ng carnauba on dark vehicles. still my preference instead of synthetics.

i just detailed my city yesterday.
here's the result:
my 3-yr old son, posing for the reflection shot
here my process:
1. Wash - using bigbert's shampoo
2. Clay - moms and diluted BB shampoo as the lubricant
3. Autoglym Super Resin Polish - very good! but need to apply very thin
4. Megs Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax - ok ang smell, hindi katulad sa SRP, but hard to apply

like the results.
sayang walang araw lately to get a decent reflection shot.
pero teka, bakit mahirap i-apply ang Megs Carnauba? dapat thin lang talaga. with a decent foam applicator, madaling-madali lang yan. hehehe buti nga wala pang 3M IHG kungdi mahihirapan ka naman sa product removal.

yeah. hehehe... palaging nandyan yan basta tungkol sa car. He calls the car "shoreline mist", ayaw nya honda city. hehehe
re megs carnauba, i used the megs foam pad applicator. maybe i was applying it too thick. next time mas thin pa. BTW, do you have any idea what's the durability of the megs carnauba? on my next wash, i'm planning to use the eagle one WAUD for maintenance, murang mura lang pala ito... less than P300. :D

with the weather we're having, I'm willing to venture that you'll get a good 2 weeks before splotches start to show up. yung hindi na pantay ang beading.. and go as thin as you can get.. ganun naman palagi. yung sachet nga ng 3M kung well-maintained ang auto can last for 2 sedans.
better go ahead and use the WAUD for maintenance.. samahan mo na din ng QD.
and welcome to this crazy hobby btw.
