hindi ata sir, mas darker ng kaunti yung sa beige vios. i think. or medyo color blind ako? hehe dont know kung exactly the same mixture/paint sila.

hehe challenge talaga sir. i was thinking of getting a washover, but i cannot afford it. di ko din alam kung how much will be the damage if ill use my insurance, put it on the self/own-damage category.

Depende kasi sa age ng car yun brader. Siguro nasa 10K or less than 10K. Mababa din participation kung wala masyado damage.

mga boss, gusto ko itry yang collinite pero wala ako alam dyan. ang wax ko ngayon is TW Platinum na liquid. ano po magandang collinite wax para sa black Honda car ko? I tried browsing dun sa collinite site pero limited info naman. ano ba mas ok, 476s, 845 o 915? I prefer durability (yata, in denial na looks talaga ang gusto pero sige na nga durability na lang haha). available po ba ito locally? i remember parang nasabi ni sir jmpet dati na meron sa bigberts? hand application lang po lahat kasi talagang newbie lang ako at gusto ko lang magupgrade ng wax hehe. thanks!

TW Platinum? :shocked2: wag mo na gamitin yan sir. Sabi sa Bigberts masyado abrasive ang TW waxes.

Ang pinaka suitable sa black car mo ay Collinite 845 Insulator wax. Yes available ito sa Bigberts pero di ako sure sa price.

Thanks kay Sir Edwin sa Rotary BUffer at sa waterless engine detail lesson. Chineck ko kanina yung engine bay ng jazz, sobrang cramped siya compared sa engine bay ni chickselog hirap i brush ng mga dumi.

1k bili ko ng 845 sa Bigberts. Kung hand application ka lang mas maganda 845 madali application and removal.

thanks sir Starex_Gold and jmpet626. abrasive pala yung TW platinum ko? Ok lang almost 8 months palang naman auto ko eh. about dun sa collinite, wala namang special technique sa application nun diba? parang normal na wax lang? thanks ulit mga bossing!

Walang special na technique sir sa pag apply. Same as any wax.

jmpet626: Napansin ko dun sa 915, madali i apply pero dapat buff agad after application. Pag medyo nahuli ng konti kailangan na ng QD.

Sir kaya pa ng polish yan. From the looks of it parang di naman malalim. If I'm right, konting buffing lang yan hehe. Pero di siya completely mawawala, reduced lang yung appearance niya. Post ako pic mamaya nung binuff ni sir edwin na scratches ng Vios mula sa bumagsak na sampayan.

Abrasive pala yang TW platinum? E yan pa naman sana bibilhin ko. E yung Turtle Wax Express Shine ba Abrasive rin ba yun?

Di naman siguro abrasive. Yung TW Hard Shell wax may very mild polishes lang. And yung platinum ay maganda raw according to sir edwin. Yung TW Ice ang di ko masyado type, ang mahal pero wala pa akong nakikitang good reviews about it. So better stay away from that one.

TW Platinum is non-abrasive. TWP is meant to be an LSP without any cleaning properties.

I don't really like TW products, but TWP is an exception. IMO, it's a really good and inexpensive LSP, albeit a bit lacking in the durability department.

BUT, despite what I said above, you should still be wary of what you use to apply and buff off the wax with. If you don't use a good applicator, you may remove a small bit of clear coat. If you don't use a good clean MF cloth to buff off your wax, you may also remove a bit of clear coat. Even if you use a good applicator and MF cloth, but you use a lot of pressure doing so, you will also remove a bit of clear coat.
