*jmpet626: As far as i know and as far as i asked the local distributor they still don't have it yet, and i too am looking for to trying that. Oh yeah you use a BnD kp600 right? what velcro did you use to attach the foam pads? i tried using some 3m velcro strips and it just came off the rubber backing pad, help pls? I just got my 2nd porter cable and im thinking of converting the kp600 to a velcro backing pad.

Yup I use a B&D KP600. Just plain hook & loop velcro available in Garment supplies then I just used mightybond to glue the velro to the backing plate of the b&d. I covered about 90% of the backing plate's surface with velcro strips.

I just ordered my PC7424XP at autogeek, how long did it take for the package to arrive? I just used their free shipping option and what voltage does the portercable operates?

*jmpet626: you got pm sent

*water: both Mothers and Meguiars actually offer it basically for free but the catch is that its for free if you avail of their packages.

As for Mothers its located in their main office near ortigas and santolan area, their basic detail package would cost you 30k but i ended up spending around 47.5k to have everything, as in every gallon they have, see the basic package doesn't really cover everything that you would need but you would be able to do most of the detailing already just not each and every one of them

As for Megs i think it costed me around 76k, they are located in kamias, and same thing basically i got all the gallons i need for detailing and all the pads and tools and accessories

I took out some extra cash since IMO i wouldn't want to waste my leave and time if i have to go back some other day and buy some more gallons and schedule a date for that specific training so what i did for both mothers and megs was to avail nearly all of their products and have them teach me how to use each and every one of them

and after that you get 5% discount on gallons and 5% on consumer sizes once you reach their quota.

Not necessarily. The products I mentioned are mild in the sense that they do not function as compounds, so you don't have to worry too much on removing too much paint. If you want a product similar to Klasse All in One, then you could use the Carlack68 Nano Systematic Care.

Meguiar's
Mothers
Turtle Wax (Platinum)
Eagle One
Adam's

Hope this helps.

Did some very simple detail on the back license plate holder (hehe tama ba ang term)

Vios just turned 2 years old last Dec.21 and it's the first time I cleaned this area..

Before: (Just look at the watermarks on that thing..The rust came from the nut I think..)

After:

It didn't produce a flawless finish on the bottom part though (look closely at 3rd pic), the bottom part has marks, maybe scratches from the license plate itself..

After asphalt removal:
This is your link: http://img191.imageshack.us/i/img5364.jpg/
This is the pic's location data: http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/3858/img5364.jpg

When I use your link and paste it in the images link of the message box, blank lagi pero when I use the property data which I got by following your link then right-clicking the image and clicking on "Property" then copying the location data and pasting it on the image link of the message box, this appears:

Follow the link you posted, then right click on the image and click on "Properties". Next, copy the image location (the first line on the box).

Go back to the Tsikot web page and click on "Post Reply" and you get the message box. At the top, you'll notice an icon which looks like two mountains with a moon on top which says "insert link", click on that icon and you get a box with "http:\\" already typed. Click on "Ctrl V" on you keyboard to past the image's locations we copied earlier, then click on "okay". That's it, the pics should now be visible. Oh, and try to resize your images to 640 x 480 so they can load faster in this site.
