    Thanks for the invite nga pala but since I'm based overseas, for now it would be impossible to participate in EB's although I would certainly attend one if I were there. In spite of our differences in opinion what matters most is that we have a common desire to help our country no matter how insignificant our contribution might be perceived by others. Whoever put up this site my hats off to you guys. And BTW, don't let the detractors derail your resolve in helping our auto industry. Mukhang helpful din tong software na to, download nyo na lang;

    Knock,knock....

    Anyway, MVPMAP it seems has not abandoned its plan of coming up with an PHUV (although the e-PHUV model and not the diesel fed one) especially when they have created a unit dedicated to it--the PHUV, Inc.

    Electric jeepneys get license plates

    Auto parts makers plan to mass-produce electric jeepneys as the Land Transportation Office has issued license plates for the pioneering unit that is being used in Makati City.

    The Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (MVPMAP), in partnership with the Green Renewable Independent Power Producer (GRIPP), is pilot-testing a locally assembled e-jeepney that plies the Legaspi Village route in the Makati business district.
    “This signals the birth of a cleaner alternative in the mass public transport system in our country,” said MVPMAP director Ferdinand Raquelsantos.

    Raquelsantos, who is also president of the group’s business arm PhUV Inc., said mass production of the e-jeepney—which is locally designed, fabricated and assembled—would begin “in the next few months.”

    “A second e-jeepney will soon start plying the Salcedo Village route in Makati City,” he added.
    Under a memorandum of agreement with GRIPP that was entered into earlier this year, the MVPMAP is committed to produce 44 e-jeepney units. With editing by INQUIRER.net

    Er... there might be copyright issues if they do that. So they would need either to license it or in the very least request written permission from the designers.
