For those who have been waiting patiently for Tsikoteers' redesign of the MVPMAP PhUV - well, here are the top three submissions.

But first, let's review the history of Tsikot's involvement with the design of Philippine Utility Vehicles.
2006

Dec 13 A survey thread on MVPMAP PhUV was opened: "Pinoy Utility Vehicle Bibili ba kau?" Tsikoteers started to speculate about how this vehicle would look. Eventually, hardcore design enthusiasts form a "roundtable", EB, and begin designing their own PhUV, to be called "Tsikot PhUV".

2007

Mar 06 They open a new thread dedicated to designing the Tsikot PhUV: "Tsikot.ph PhUV Prototype"

Apr 26 Tsikot owners EB with the Tsikot PhUV design roundtable

Apr 29 Tsikot owners create a special advocacy forum for the Tsikot PhUV and Original Pilipino Vehicles (OPV): "Tsikot Auto Design and Research Forum"
.
Jun 12 MVPMAP finally launched its PhUV in Market-Market.
Tsikot opens "MVPMAP's PhUV Feedback Thread"

Jun 23 End of Feedback period.

Jun 26 Tsikot meets MVPMAP Consortium. Tsikot admin and Tsikot Design & Research Forum commit to assist MVPMAP in restyling the MVPMAP PhUV.

Jul 02 MVPMAP Consortium sends "MESSAGE to TSIKOT.COM on the PhUV Feedback Thread"

Jul 07 Tsikot.com owner declares firm position on OPVs Living Advocacy and the Tsikot PhUV.

Jul 17 Tsikot attends MVPMAP PhUV redesign meeting.

Jul 22 Tsikot submits exterior styling analysis and recommendations to MVPMAP. [HIGHLIGHTS]
Tsikot roundtable sets Tsikot PhUV aside to focus on MVPMAP PhUV restyling.

Aug 17 Tsikot Design & Research Forum submits 3 body restyling recommendations to MVPMAP Consortium.
.
Tsikot has thus delivered on its commitment to help MVPMAP.
The rest is entirely up to MVPMAP.

As of this writing, the roundtable is back to designing the Tsikot PhUV.

The three Tsikoteer-contributors have requested that their names be withheld.
We are honoring this request, as we do their intellectual property rights.

However, we will mention some remarkable facts about them:
• They are all intensely patriotic.
• They all believe that the Filipino CAN!
• They are all Overseas Filipino Workers who wish they didn't
have to leave the Philippines to find a good-paying job!

I like Y and Z. They can easily be fabricated by existing native assemblers.

gusto ko yung X. because of the aesthetic resemblance of the general shape to the oldschool jeeps (which is pinoy jeepney trademark shape).

Y & Z looks like Anfras.

Type X looked like a bastardized Hummer/Range Rover....it looks rugged which is good for rural streets in the provinces and may actually dictate lower production cost than the Y & Z.

i like X's resemblance to the jeepney but i would prefer more curves for a modern jeepney look and maybe less drag.

matutulin na din ang mga jeepney sa kalye so it would help kung mejo streanlined ang design.

"Z" looks good, with a minimal of curved lines, yet retaining a modern and contemporary look overall.

Great work, guys.

Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
