There are two categories of ART. On one hand, "Fine" art is for the pure expression by an artist and aesthetic reaction by the beholder. On the other, "Practical" art is for some intended use by consumer or user. These threads are eminently geared towards practical art, but do not exclude the fine art of car rendering for art's sake.
foifoi05's first post in http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showp...5&postcount=51 appears to be a visual concept (fine) for an SUV (practical), that is perfectly adaptable - with some dimensional adjustments - to the OTJ or PhUV.
What's important is that foifoi05 is able to contribute new "visual words" (shapes, forms, configs) - a visual vocabulary that can be used to "describe" (design, style) an original vehicle.
* foifoi05:
Welcome to the Tsikot Auto Design and Research Forum! It's great to have you around.Suggestion lang: Try to read through the forum threads to understand what this new forum is about. It's basically an advocacy forum for OPVs (Original Pilipino Vehicles), and this particular thread is for the PhUV. Once you get the feel of it, you can start your own thread(s), even just for auto art's sake. This forum is also for people who need a repository/art museum for their artistic urges - basta about cars and Pinoy.
If you have friends from art circles with similar interests, please invite them, too!

*drey...
are you referring to my handle(user name) when you said user call?sorry..if its not what you meant but if it is....well....literal yung user name ko eh...ala pa kasi pera even after working for so long na....hehehe...
I think I am not considered as an OFW since my company is still based in the Philippines(IT related). I'm just being assigned in Japan if there are projects....

yup...that's how I think a five-door model seat layout should be.
another possible option is to have the second row and the rear seats collapsible...
second row seat: can be folded down(ung sandalan lang) in case of long cargos...
rear seat...similar to fx and revo wherein it can be folded up to accomodate big cargos..
3-door models can also have the arrangement of the rear seats in your layout but it will extend up to the rear of the 1st row seats...similar to tamaraw, fiera style...but still, seats can be folded in case of big cargos(i.e. plywood, boxes,etc..
sorry if I can't provide some pc layouts...di kasi pwedeng mag-install ng ibang software dito sa pc ko eh...(company property kasi...)
suggestion:
maybe we also need to further breakdown working/design groups...
let's say...we can create a separate thread for the interior design and leave this thread for exterior design..para mas maging organized ang ideas...
just a suggestion....

thanks a lot sir. Almost done scanning this thread. Glad to see this kind of forum, matagal ko na hinahanap ito. Ive started a topic on motioncars similar to this pero hindi umabot sa ganitong level. thanks to sir Oyil for the invite.
I dont do tech and mech car stuff, kaya mejo on the form/aesthetic level ang contribution ko for now.
Apologies to my previous posts. Been very busy lately, but if i got the free time, ill produce some suggestions specifically for the phuv. Perhaps i suggest for a concept art thread for new and established makes (since i dont have the privilege to start a thread here). Anyway, Its nice to hear you guys are up for it i wish you all the luck.

June 4th, 2007 04:59 PM #610My first post in this thread.
Oyil, can you consider having the spare wheel "encased" within the rear door assembly? Assuming we're using regular-jeep sized wheels, such wheels are HEAVY. Walang isyu kung mga maton tayo, pero paano kung nag-iisang girl?
I was thinking of a retractable frame within this assy which allow unloading and loading the spare. If we can afford it, may power assist pa!.
BTW, are we "decided" that the engine is up-front, or in the driver's cabin?
