Mr. Domingo Guevara, the founder of DMG (which assembled the VW Beetle here), once had a vision for the Philippines. He believed that industrialization is the way to becoming a first world nation. Now, the ratification of JPEPA will definitely annihilate whatever is left of our pathetic local auto industry (zero tariff to CBU of Japan.paano local manufacturers? wholesale na talaga pagbebenta sa PInas...)..I hope the senators will not ratify it because only Japan will benefit from it.
