Building kit cars is a hobby and a passion....and it's not cheap. Majority of Kit Car enthusiasts derive pleasure from building their own cars (like the guy who built the F430). They also spend a lot to make their cars look OEM as much as possible. Turnkeys are available for those who don't have time...but then again, shipping a fully built car from the UK to the Philippines is another problem.

Of course the cost will be more since you have to factor in shipping (not sure how much). And expect to spend more during the actual build. If you don't want to spend as much, don't have the time or the skill and are worried about the risk, then Kit Cars may not be for you. You'll be better off just buying a high end car locally.

I once met a builder who specializes on classic Ferraris. His shop was near E. Rodriguez Ave. He was at that time building a Testarossa 250 and was offering to build me a Ferrari 355. He also had the mold for a Ferrari Enzo in his shop.
