fujitsu ten tape deck ba yun stereo? tsk tsk and tama nga, isang aircon vent for a 7 seater car?

ever get the feeling that it's the manufacturers themselves who are sabotaging this endeavour?
baka ayaw talaga nila kaya ganyan sobra itsura pati loob. siguro sabi nila ok tapos na and sentimyento, back to reality: manufacturer parts for paying customers: like Honda/Toyota

You gotta admit.. this PHUV is positively luxurious compared to the Jeepney!!

but at twice the cost of a new jeepney (with surplus engine)... i am not sure if there will be many takers.

well at least the guy who made this has an excuse why it was designed that way.

i was disappointed with the prototype of the phuv. i didn't have high expectations for this vehicle yet they managed to make it into something way lower than what i expected it to be. after all the hype, all they could muster is a facelifted anfra? that's 10+ years between the anfra and the phuv. i can't honestly say that we have made some progress after seeing that vehicle. it did not even reached the looks and build quality of the lowly tarawaw fx. heck, even our 80s ford econovan will look pretty if you park it beside the phuv.

    some comments and suggestions:

    1. don't place the door hinges outside the vehicle.
    2. remove the spare tire from the back of the vehicle. it looks like it's "trying hard"
    3. add some curves to the body to make it more appealing
    4. the gear shifter definitely needs some work
    5. change the engine into an isuzu or a mitsubishi diesel
    6. coil springs up front
    7. bigger tires
    8. power steering (not sure if it is already equipped or not)

well, at least it can't possibly get worse than this right?

My God!Fellow tsikoteers!Have you seen the interior.Grabe!Parang binaboy ito.Nakahiya talaga!Ihiniharap pa sa Pangulo ng Bansa.Maybe shes disapointed of what she saw yesterday.Looks rotten inside!Honestly, mas maganda pa yung ANFRA ng FMC 10 years ago.Walang sinabi ito sa AMC Hummer replica ng Alana Motors.Mas pulido pa yung gawang Jeep ng Morales Motors.Imbes na gaganahan ka,nawawalan ka ng kumpyansa sa gawang pinoy.Diyos ko po!i guide nyo po sila.MVPMAP should go back to the drawing board.Kung hindi talaga kaya.Mangarap na lang kayo. Its free anyway!

the prototype is a start. but from what i saw and read, did not notice any innovation at all. with the exception of the new engine, to me, this is more of a new model with nice paint and body kit than a prototype. perhaps they stick to designing the vehicle purely using existing parts?

Francisco Motors’ version of the PhUV is a multipurpose vehicle based on the Toyota Tamaraw and Mitsubishi L300. It will be powered by a 1.8-liter diesel engine. MVPMAP was more circumspect about its model, only that it would be an Asian Utility Vehicle (AUV) but a bit "rugged." Prices, they said, will be around P350,000.

Mr. Raquelsantos said. "Francisco Motors...Mr. Francisco, for his part, said the firm is planning to source its engines from India or China.
para fair: maybe we should start a separate thread for the FMC-PhUV scrutiny
