That's impossible. I don't mind the 400k tag. As long as the quality IS there. The problem is, they put an ANFRA, chinese engine, below par designers in a blender and... voila! P-H-U-V baby!

Perhaps if they started with a chassis MINUS the body it will be exceptional. A lot more. I agree, mas mahal hulmahan pag may kurbada na, but that's where the designers comes in: come up with an original box body, not a recycled existing one.

They can get young designers (mas gusto ko pa nga mga sketch ng tsikoteers dito, grabe ANG gaganda!) who are more willing to prove their talents than oldies who ask for a huge talent feet but with ho-hum designs.

This is one big example of mis-management. Everything. Down to the last person, down to the last bolt.

I hope San Francisco Motors comes up with a better PHUV.

go for a somewhat rounded over-all shape while retaining the sharper slope. Boxy is so 80s after all.

I didn't hear anyone complaining about the X-Trail's boxy shape (except perhaps for myself). Speaking of which, I think the X-Trail deserves even just some of the Murano's curves.

But overall, I guess they could have made the PhUV a little more streamlined. Wala bang test drive? I-slalom na yan! :D

Parang owner type jeep lang na pinahaba Yung upper part ang hindi ko ma-appreciate - windshield, windows, bubong, salamin sa likod.

Tatawanan ng mga latero ng Ilo-ilo, Pampanga at Nuea Ecija ang design ng MVPMAP.

Parang Harabas ung dating pero ang size nya at ang kitid eh parang ung suzuki carry? tama ba? pero i salute to them, well at least they are showing lots of effort in designing one! saludo kay Juan dela Cruz! pero parang ung hubcaps panget hindi bagay sorry to ask but does the dashboard looks like the one in Kia Pride? parang may similarity kasi eh pero congratulations pa rin at least they did show a lot of effort in producing one

The designers should also ditch the exposed door hinges unless they intend to market this vehicle as bank armored cars.

tama yun pero parang kasi if ung door hinge itatago, will it increase the price of the vehicle? pasensya na correct me if im wrong

nakaka panlambot naman ang interior nito.. ano ba to?? yung mga ilaw hindi sukat.. ano yung grille?? chicken wire?? tapos puro kalawang ang bakal sa loob... design ba yung nakalabas yung turnilyo?? at yung ilaw.. ilaw yata nang poste yun.. yung labasan nang aircon.. yun lang ba yun?? at ang ilaw sa loob.. parang yung tig 100.00 na ilaw sa ACE..

eh mas pulido pa yung gawa nang MORALES jeep na patok sa Marikina dito eh..

Lots of things to be improved. Parang minadali yung dashboard. Yung gearstick? ano yun? parang kinuha sa isang junk shop. (sorry for the comments)

..I hate to say this, after all, lots of effort, time, dedication, and passion were poured into realizing this vehicle..but simply put, not worthy of being called PhUV...a better vehicle is worthy of the name, designwise and build-quality-wise..
where's the creative imagination we Filipinos are known for?

tuwang tuwa pa naman si GMA.. tapos ganyan lang kakalabasan.. sana naman i improve nila yan..

i'd rather invest that money in a proper R & D utilizing CAD...

hmm. mas ok pa LGS Motors na jeep... it think 400k would get you a good looking LGS.. hehehe pero sana open pa ito sa improvements :D
