i like the design. i can't tell whether the body has the upright design of a normal sedan, just like the current gen A4...or if it is a flatter, lower-to-the-ground, profile like the R8.
those engines are anemic considering the crazy hp BMW is putting into the 3-series, and even the stuff Lexus and Infiniti are going to be doing soon. of course, if that 500 NM diesel engine makes its way to US shores (i have no idea why most German marques choose to leave the diesels at home) then even the 335 TT needs to watch out :shocked2:
it's still going to be tough to beat the E90/E92 in this segment though...although i wonder what the new S4/RS4 are going to look like/spec out to?

May 19th, 2008 07:36 PM #29yup, the lights are lead, much like the A5 more than the R8.
as for the "engines are anemic", compared to a 2.0 diesel bmw- is it really that far off? consider too that these are the TDI engines. please reconsider. the audi brand has improved greatly and are a match to BMWs in terms of performance. i'm quite interested in the A4 and have been doing a bit of research on them.
net reviews have noticed that, of late, audi interiors are already in a higher plane than the BMWs. they are now the standard to beat. that is also why they are probably priced more than mercs and beemers. if you have visited the showroom and sat in one you will agree that the build quality and the over-all x-factor does go to the audis. try it.
test drive na lang ang kulang. will think of it and have one scheduled soon.
peace out!
