    My odo is 102,304

Like what I said before, partly my negligence. Two years ago, my car almost overheated. Radiator was then converted to brass tank. That was the time I did not bother to add proper coolant. Just distilled water.

Then by January 2018, radiator started leaking again. Most probably dahil na sa water pump. Naubos na impeller. Causing high heat and pressure. That’s why I bought a cheap obd scanner/reader sa lazada to monitor my coolant temp. And I was bit surprised mataas talaga readings. Ranging from 98 to 110c city driving.

Changing the thermostat and radiator cap did not solve my problem. Only when they checked my water pump... and the impeller was gone.

Timing chain yung engine ko. The water pump can easily be replaced.

Maybe with proper coolant and religious flushing of the cooling system, di pa masisira ang water pump at 100k odo.

I even bought a surplus fan clutch. Thinking it was my fan clutch. But it was not.

I suggest, when your car is already old, check the water pump first. I tested my thermostat and it’s still working. Kahit sobrang rusty na tingnan. It’s still functional. Di pa pala kelangan palitan.

    But no regrets replacing everything.
