September 30th, 2006 10:07 AM #12low - 40 psi
high - 350 psi
350 psi for the high side is way much over the required pressure of 150 - 160 Masyadong mataas yata yan, could be your condenser fan failed and your pressure switch was probably disabled or bypassed kaya di nag cut off ang compressor mo.

I am having the same problem right now. My van stopped cooling and I have it a complete checkup. Flushed my system, replaced the expansion valves 2 kasi front and rear aircons, replaced drier/filter. Then recharged the system and ok na, malamig na. Test drive it, nawala lamig. Compressor stopped and when we checked the high side pressure wow, 300+. Reason,, condenser fan is not working. I am having it replaced today. Hopefully, everything will be allright again.:icecream:

September 30th, 2006 10:46 PM #16Bugbugin mo yung tesda Technician na yan, sinadya nya yan. the normal pressure is 45-60 sa suction or you can go 40 psi but not lower than this. the discharge should have 250-265 psi.

rubber nya parang bulaklak eh, tingin ko pinalitan nila yun for free
since mali yung process nila, medyo mataas lang yung pressure na
nilagay nila.

If that's the case, then it isn't cheap. More like a headache down the road, kahit pang coding...
