May 16th, 2010 09:50 PM #4Hi Sir,
Normally when the HG will go bad, you have to replace it with an OEM instead of bringing it to the machine shop for re surfacing. I have a mitsu lancer & the OEM HG costs 1, 700 PHP at shaw merchandising. Yours is honda so i suggest you check with supplier.ph the price of an original HG.
BTW, check you oil cap if you will notice a mix of oil & coolant. If YES, the HG or the CH might be in bad shape already. Also, white smoke in the tail pipe with water or coolant indication shows that the coolant is already flowing in the combustion chamber.
Try speedyfix. Sir Migs is the best judge for that cases. He can give you a rough estimate for your case.

Gumagana ba iyong auxillary fan mo.

update ko na din mga sirs, nawala na yung mga bubbles probabaly because ni re-torque ko yung head as advised in other threads. but the problem is still there, overheat pa din pag long driving, pag traffic wala problem...any ideas mga gurus....TIA

there's this youtube article, about a 2000s altis, that had a high rpm on cold start (2000+ daw),...
