Calsonics are expensive, and surplus items may not last long, as the mechanical clutches on Calsonics are rather fragile. Better to convert it to a more robust Denso or Sanden unless you're buying a brand new compressor.

    plus one on niky

never try to buy surplus maybe in the short period of time okay ang surplus but in the long run palagi ka na lang bibili ng surplus. better convert it to denso or sanden na brand new. anyway i think your from QC pede ka mag drop by sa e rod may mga shop dun na mura magbenta ng a/c parts. may sanden 501 bought from e rod around 4K lang

May binebenta po pala sakin yung friend ng utol ko na stock compressor. Maayos pa daw po talaga kaso, nasira lang daw yung pulley. My nabibili ba na pulley lang for compressor??

    Yung pulley yung mahirap.

See, the Calsonic uses a mechanical clutch on the pulley mechanism. This clutch is what helps attach or disconnect the compressor from the pulley. But a surplus clutch will have issues... poor lubrication, stuck-up mechanisms... it's easy for a surplus clutch to break or becomes stucl.

That's why a surplus Denso is a good idea... they use a rubber clutch... and while these might conceivably degrade over time, they won't get catastrophically stuck.

You can buy clutches separate from the compressors, but having once bought three clutches in a row (all of which failed within a month) for my surplus Calsonic on my SR20, I'm kind of wary of doing this.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
