October 27th, 2018 10:09 AM #183Clean with vinegar or dab of Turco, if still not clean use industrial grde hcl acid. The silting on the cover numbs the sensor w/c is just usually a thermistor wrapped in polymer.

check the voltage at the dlc3 terminal. see link:

it is more than likely communication problem. please, give it a try and provide voltage readings after the test.

October 27th, 2018 08:00 PM #188engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) will have pink wire on terminal 1 and light blue on terminal 2

on this one, the fan does not run when you unplug this sensor. this is, a negative temperature coefficient resistor or a thermistor (NTC resistor). unplugging it will simulate the coolant temperature is below freezing
this link has a very short shelf life. open link, print the information ASAP

wear and tear naman ito no? pwede reserve nalang yun luma?
