    Mga sir, paano ba tamang takbo ng fan sa mga 3 cylinder engine na isa lang ang fan na nagsusuply sa radiator and condenser? Dapat ba kapag bukas ng makina at aircon on cold starts ay umiikot na agad ang fan? Sa 4 cylinders ko kasi na sasakyan tsaka pa lang bubukas ang radiator fan pag kalahati na ang temp pero kapag open aircon kahit di pa narereach ang normal/kalahating temp o kabubukas pa lang ng sasakyan ay un condenser fan lang ang umiikot.

    Kahit mga 2 hours stop and go na traffic laging nasa unang guhit o lagpas lang ng kaunti sa unang guhit ang needle sa temp gauge. Naoover cool ba ang radiator o maaring sira ang temp sending unit? Kasi kapag hinawakan ko ang head ng makina ay hot to touch naman kapag kakagaling lang sa super traffic pero un needle sa gauge ay nasa first bar lang.

    Pahabol pala mga sir. Never ko narereach ang kalahating needle sa temp gauge kahit buong araw ko gamit un sasakyan. Thanks.

    Electric fans are self-regulated by the engine. It will turn on at the appropriate temperature levels.

    Un sa akin sir pagka turn ng ignition key sa on position umiikot na siya.

    daewoo tico. 3 cylinder engine po sir. nagsheshare lang po sa isang fan ang radiator and condenser. thanks.

    Sa unang startup (with aircon off), hindi dapat iikot ang fan. Busted thermoswitch or detached connector/ fuse?

    Tama ka, isang fan lang. Dual speed both for engine rad and ac condenser.

    If i remember it correctly sir, ikaw din nagtanong re spark plug socket. Kamusta, natangal mo na ba?

    Yung sa auto ko hindi umiikot yung rad fan unless bubuksan ko ung A/C. Di ko alam kung ano problema pero since di naman ako nag ooverheat (except nung nabutas radiator ko at naubusan ng tubig) di ko na lang din pinapansin. He,he. Even in long drive no effect. Maybe because I am using 100% coolant.

    Opo sir on startup po umiikot agad ang fan kahit hindi pa naka on ang aircon, kaya lagi ako naka aircon ngayon. Ano kaya ang possible na ipapagawa ko dito? Sirang thermoswitch or thermostat na sir? Hindi din pala ako nagbabawas ng tubig, spkonting konti lang kung mabawasan.

    Yes sir ako din po un sa sparkplug, hindi pa ako nakakadaan ng ace para makabili ng socket, sana swak nga ang 5/8 na deep socket.

    ok lang yan sir dipende kasi sa wiring ng car meron kasi nakasabay na ang wiring ng radiator fan sa aircon kasi malaki ung condeser kaya nakakatulong un para mapalamig din ang condenser

    nakarekta na ung fan mo sa battery it mean wala na yan relay..Orig wiring pa ba yan? kung hindi bka nairekta na yan dati para di mag overheat or baka nasira na ung thermostat sa radiator kaya nirekta..

    kaya isa lang ang fan mo may HI and Low yan..

    dapat pagstart mo ng engine di pa aandar ung fan then kapag na reach na ung certain heat saka palang aandar ung fan ng Low Speed..then kpag naka on ung A/C automatic aandar din ung fan na naka Hi speed.

    UP ko lang etong thread na to, ano kaya problem kapag one of the fan ng radiator/AC condenser is need to jolt or galawin ang blade to start it running? oks pa naman ang speed and blow of air nya. Also never had any issues of overheating pa naman. Concern lang ako baka soon bumigay na sya. where could I buy original Denso Fan kaya aside sa casa?

    Most likely it's a sign that the motor is about to die. Best to have the motor replaced.

    Happened to my Civic. Changing the motor solved it. I think this is caused by worn-out brush inside the motor. But the motor is typically sealed so you may have to replace it as an assembly. The blade itself, if not damaged, can be transplanted to the new motor.

    I had mine done at Frigid Zone along Congressional Ave., QC. Just look them up and check their addresses. There are other shops but I don't have any experience dealing with them.

    hi folks,

    ung radiator fan ko minsan maalog at may ingay ang takbo nya instead na pino at tahimik, causing it to slow down and my temp to go up. is this a sure sign na ung motor nya ang problem? palitin na ba or kaya i repair? what else do I need to check. inquired sa coolmate/denso makati kanina and got the ff prices:

    fan motor assembly, original denso - 2,500
    labor - 350

    brand new, original/oem. good deal na no? considering pag nag surplus ako kahit half the price i have no way of knowing ung history. I am scheduled to have this done tomorrow, please tell me what you think.

    btw, altis 2007 ang unit ko. nag iisa lang ang fan ng Altis, ung sa radiator. the shop itself is like 3 mins from my place.

    Ito tip sana mag work for you kung gusto mo brand new motor ipapalit.

    Kapag nabaklas mo yung motor ng fan assemby, hanap ka sa auto supply ng fan assembly na generic pero yung motor is Denso rin or Sanden and tignan mo kung magka size sila.

    The price of the generic fan assembly is just 1,200 to 1,500.

    Ang important lang dyan yung tatangalin mong motor is magkakasya sa fan assembly mo.

    At least yan hindi surplus

    Hi sir thanks for the tip. The prices quoted are from Coolmate Makati branch, the/an official distributor of Denso auto parts. parts supply/talyer sila.

    Mas mabilis lang lumamig kaysa dati.

    Pero kung ang habol mo is mas lalamig pa ang buga sa vent, ibang usapan na yan at mas magastos
