I am not sure of the replacement specific for the Civic but I asked last month about a brand new replacement radiator for a Feroza that's made locally. It's priced around 7,000 pesos. Since the Civic radiator is smaller than the Feroza's if it's available then it should be cheaper. Try asking Sprint sa Banawe. Goodluck.
nmtin,
Denso sells new and reconditioned radiators for most cars.
Check with this dealer: Den-Aire inc, 545 quezon ave, west triangle. Tel 410-4515, 414-8785.
not really, as long as your radiator doesn't have corrosion and mineral deposits, they can last a long, long time... our radiator in our maxima was orig for over 12 years...
Yup, the radiator should last if you do proper maintenance.
Use distilled water only, like "absolute" that comes in 5L containers and at least a 30% solution with a ethylene-glycol type coolant, like "peak".
If rust caused the damage, then may be time to change the thermostat and hoses as well. I'd also change the radiator cap.
