how often do uhave yur aircon cleaned?

it is a valve that is located in the evaporator. this is the part that usually 'clogs-up' all of a sudden which shuts of the a/c compressor kaya bigla na lang walang lamig ang a/c even if its turned on.

never ko pa pinalinis yung sentra '96 ko, although regular ang check-up nun pag pm's....the best pa rin yung aircon....the (only) good thing for sentra...:lol:

well sa akin once a year kung ipa PM ko ang aircon ko, why wait for something to go wrong when you can prevent it. ayoko kasi kung kailan matindi ang init or malakas ang ulan saka ka masisiraan ng aircon. plus parang mas malamig at mabango ang aircon pag bagong linis, kahit naman electric fan pag madumi na hirap ng magpalamig.

Php 500.00 ang expansion valve ng Besta dati. Pero that's on the expensive side na.

I just had my annual aircon clean last Monday (April 7, 2003). Cost for the general service and cleaning was 2500.

Wednesday (April 9, 2003); The bad part, just after lunch when I was about to drive off. Something smelled awful came from the vents, though there was still some cold air coming out from the vents. Had it checked again and they found a hole in the evaporator or the cooling coils. Darn! The new one costs 3800, plus drier 900 and 1100 for refilling the freon again!

Lesson learned: Never to have that annual aircon cleaned again. The cooling coil will eventually have holes and be changed again after sometime. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :x
