    As you've said, the problem appeared only recently so how come you're blaming the dealer from services performed last month? Unless each part of the engine undergoes microscopic inspection, there's always that certainty that something will break sooner or later. Casa service typically does not include specialized services (ie. compression tests, cooling system pressure tests, oil analysis, etc.) as part of their PMS bundles. These are usually done only when either a) there are indications or symptoms of the problem, or b) the customer specifically asks for the said service(s) to be performed. Otherwise, they just do an ocular for leaks and keep an eye out for worn or defective parts.

    On to the problem: Overheating engines almost always points to a stuck thermostat valve. If you haven't replaced it since 2003, this is the first thing to do. 2nd, use Honda OEM coolant with the correct coolant/water mix ratio. Don't just use plain water (tap, filtered or distilled). The coolant has far more important jobs than just raising the boiling temperature. It's there to slow down corrosion and lubricate the water pump, among many others. But don't just pour in any kind of coolant. The wrong coolant will destroy your cooling system. Hence, my insistence on using Honda OEM. Get the Type 2 if you can get your hands on it. Otherwise, use Type 1 coolant as this is the one available from most Honda dealers.
