a/c thermostat setting

my a/c's thermostat switch is located underneath the glove compartment. analog yata yun? how do i set the thermostat settings? set nung a/c technician slightly turned to the right lang. parang nasa 1 or 2 lang. can i set to mga 7-8 (meaning ikot ko pa pa-kanan hanggang 7-8 level) or mas maganda na naka-steady na lang sa 1-2? ano po ba ang mas maganda? nasa 1-2 level or kung nasa bandang 7-8 or max? thanks.

it would depend on the temperature inside and outside the car.
my thermo switch is just set at around 6-7. hindi ko pa naisagad yun more than that.
pag taglamig, i usually set it at around 5 (yung gitna).

Make sure lang na hindi magyeyelo yung hose mo papuntang evaporator pag inadjust mo sya kasi pwedeng makasira yun ng compressor mo.
