Ayoko kasi patagalin kasi di ako maka drive ng malayo kaya when I saw the leak I immediately had it replaced the next day.

ok ang double row. at least it would double the capacity of your coolant or water.

when i still had my lancer boxtype, i replaced the old radiator with a new 3-row.

I went to the shop that quoted 6,000 'coz it's closer to my house. Is it okay that I got double row? My original radiator is single row lang.

Good Luck.

    +1

There's absolutely nothing wrong on buying a surplus radiator, though only applicable to those risk taker (like me ) & has a tight pocket, then I'll go for the surplus ones. Had mine for 5 years & counting, luckily I got the better, durable ones (pang matic pa nabigay ung may oil cooler, pero m/t akin.)

Ikanga, tsambahan lang yan kung ok nakuha mo, swerte (parang ako, hehe )... then kung nasira agad, then you're sorry!

tama ka bro kung kaya naman sa budget why not na bago pero kung hindi go for surplus or overhaul ang radiator, ako kasi every 18 months pa overhaul ko radiator kaya hindi nagkakaroon ngproblema. 350pesos lang overhaul.

wow, every 18 months? tiyaga mong ipaoverhaul yan ah!?! nung nagpapa overhaul ka ba, may mga symptoms na ng wear & tear? or just preventive maintenance lang?

i don't think evercool has a warranty per se... depende na sa pagbibilhan mo siguro if they give you a warranty on it.

For me its better to buy a new radiator rather than spending your money sa surplus na hindi ka naman sigurado.

For peace of mind, I strongly suggest you get a brand new replacement. OEM costs twice as much kasi, and chances are, it also has a plastic top. Evercool has a copper top, so no more worries about it getting cracked, as it can be easily repaired (unlike plastic ones).

Maybe the other peeps can help you with regards to reputable repair shops in Sucat or Makati. Pero why not try Speedyfix? HTH
You may want to try Sammy's Radiator shop at Sucat infront of Jaka Bldg. I think for a brand new radiator more or less around Php6,000.00 pero its copper already dont buy plastic sandali lang sira na pero mas mura. Try evercool brand.

Levin in Banawe sells Evercool radiators. Don't know if they can install them in your car though. You can give them a call at 711-4057/711-4129 for inquiries.
