    Mga sirs patulong naman po sa problema ng a/c ng car ko. Dinala ko po sa a/c shop ang car ko kasi walang lamig at sinabi ko patay ang compressor pero minsan gagana kung ginagalaw ko yung relay ng a/c. ang sabi ng technician, kulang sa freon at may leaks sa tubo at sabi nya hindi dahil sa relay kundi dahil walang freon kaya yung presuure switch, hindi gumagana. so ang ginawa, nilagyan ng freon at pinalitan ang o-ring. after that po, gumana naman po at malamig naman. after few days, ayaw na namang umandar yung compressor, so binalik ko sa shop. This time, sinabi sira ang relay, so pinalitan nga then gumana naman. After a day uli, ayaw na naman so ibinalik ko uli, then this time sinabi na sira yung pressure switch. Posible po kaya talaga na yun ang problema? hindi po ba ma check if sira talaga pressure switch kasi parang trial and error lang nangyayari. If palitan po, normally magkano po kaya yung part na yun?
    Quote po kasi sa akin 1400 parts lang. Nissan exalta po 2002 ang car po.

    this has a multifaceted scenario:
    1- the technician does not really know how to properly diagnose the symptom
    2- the technician is not properly trained and equipped
    3- the technician tries to please you by not replacing all the parts needed to repair the problem and hopes to make you save money
    4- he thinks that if you replace more than one part (mulitple part failure), you might go to some other shop
    5- he tries the "wait and see" approach if you come back with the same symptoms
    6- he probably wants you to come back some other time
    7- he wants to see you again, hek hek

    diagnoses are supposed to be thorough regardless the real estimate for parts and labor hurts. if you go to a competent shop with competent technicians that is decently equipped, you always most of the time, thinks the charges will be high. most of the time if not all, you get what you pay for. this situation is more inconvenient and probably a more expensive proposition since the guesswork or "diagnosis" is wrong and is nickel and diming you

    kailangan mo ng proper diagnosis jan .kung sa Las pinas area ka try mo shop namin fully equipped kami.

    Baka Ang Sita yun thermostat na, yun probe like na nakasaksak sa evaporator or yun mismong sa panel na...kaya niyo ba ayusin yan canproauto?

    sir i will try to explain(with my understanding off course ) the purpose of a pressure switch in your a/c system
    it is there to cut out the compressor when the system pressure is below its specified limit,this is to protect the compressor from being starve of its lubrication, this switch is usually located sa receiver drier/accumulator,ok, meaning kung kulang ang freon mo mag off ang pressure switch mo leading to no power to your compressor magnetic clutch its sort of like a switch na ka on pag may tamang pressure off pag kulang ang pressure, there is a way of testing this pressure switch at your own risk nga lang, and make sure na tama ang amount ng freon mo sa system ,ginagawa ko ito sa car ko ,engine idling a/c on un plug the pressure switch connector ,the compressor magnetic clutch should disengage this usually means ok ang switch but not always, now if you could simulate the fault, engine idling a/c on compressor clutch not engaging pull out the pressure switch connector and short the two terminals with copper wire the compressor clutch should engage then you find your pressure switch to be defective ,again make sure you have a proper amount of freon level in the system., sana natulungan kita

    sa mga nag reply, marami pong salamat sa inyo. until now hindi pa po ok ang aircon ko, meron po ba kayong alam na aircon shop po na malamit sa Tanza, Cavite? marami po uling salamat.

    Hi mga sirs/ma'am

    Pareho din po yung problem ng 2001 EK namin. Hindi ko lang alam sa TS kung bumubga ng hangin ung aircon system nila kahit patay sindi ung compressor. Samin kasi walang hangin sa vents at all. Pero malamig naman ung tubo ng aircon pag nag on ito.

    Pag i-on ko ang aircon hindi agad nag sstart ung aircon at kung magstart man patay sindi ung aircon.

    Malamig naman at malakas yung buga ng hangin pag naka bukas ung aircon, hindi lang tumatagal na naka bukas ung aircon at minsan napapansin ko na nag start lang ang aircon pag naka bukas yung blower fan sa radiator.

    Mga magkano kaya yung relay for magnetic clutch or yung magnetic clutch mismo, refill ng freon at magkano estimated labor fee?

    Sana po matulungan nyo kami mga ka-tsikot.

    I had my aircon repaired last wk near my area here in Imus. ANg sira ng intermittent problem ng compressor ko ay yung pito or valve wherein dun nag rerefill or charge ng freon at yung themoswitch ko ay di na nag-o-automatic kaya ininstallan ng manual thermoswitch. Walang nakitang leak sa buong aircon system kundi ang nakitang problema yung valve. Habang naglileak-test napansin ng technician na may sumisingaw sa valve kaya hayun pinalitan nya agad. Kaya siguro naubusan ako ng freon at pati yung thermoswitch ko di na nag-o-automatic kya replace kami ng manual type. So far ...satisfied ako sa gawa. Malamig pa ang buga kahit nakaset lang sa number 1 at nakagitna lang un temperature settings. Damage ko lang, 1.3k for general cleaning and 650 for the manual thermostat switch (adjustable).

Need help (intermittent ON ang compressor)!!
