just went there last week for my car's annual air-con cleaning. guys, any idea kung how much yun linis pati loob ng dash board? nakalimutan ko itanong. hehe

Wala pong arcon sa likod like auvs and vans. They are called single air by local folks. Dual air is the other kind, =)

Meron siguro kasi wala naman siya gastos sa pwesto and may kita naman sila sa parts kahit papano? Hula ko lang po. Hehe. May fleet accounts din sila. Yung mga van na ginagamit ng drug companies pang shuttle ng doctors kapag may events, sina mang mar din gumagawa. =)

Yung benta ng freon mura. Yung benta ng piyesa ang mahal. Hehe. I guess it evens out? Matanong nga si mang mar pag di siya busy.

Sa ngayon ang price range sa store per kilo ng refrigerant

R-12 400-450pesos/kilo(faceout na raw pero my nabibili pa rin)
R-134a 600-700pesos/kilo

normal na singil sa simpleng linis ng air-con mga 1,500pesos except lang yun mga modelong unit.

ang sabi sa ibang aircon repair shop, may local and imported daw na freon. mas malamig daw pag imported lalo na kung galing sa more developed country since may mga fake daw na freon. hindi ko lang alam kung totoo ba ito and kung may basis ba.

Yes, may r12 black market daw. Dont know who stocks them. And some use flammable ingredients lalo na yung mga galing mexico.

Guys ano ba procedure na gagawin pag may fog yung windshield dahil sa AC?

Depende sa customer. When it happened to mang mar's own toyota camry, he just chose to block the dash vents. They can also open up the ac and check the vent selector doors. Some vehicles use a thin sliding film that degrades over time.

Personally i'd probably block it. Lesser models of the avanza, vios, innova, hilux, hiace and pther toyota models have those vents blocked as part of cost cutting.

My pitstop at Mang Mario this morning. The shitty ducts of the shitty a/c finally gave way and no air was available on the side vents.

Circa 70's or 80's aftermarket a/c system:

Flexi-ducts just like on converted vehicles except these ones are rotten and just held on by packing tape. hehe:

Dapat yun A/C shop yun lagayan ng freon maganda, ayaw ko kung yun freon tank eh sira sira na Meron mga kalawang na bumibili Lang ng tingi, Kasi yun bagong A/C shop na pinapagawan ko bago Parati yun freon sila San den yun brand then naka sealed pa ng plastic yun tank, Ewan ko kung Ilan kilo yun Isang maliit na tank na ganun parang mas maliit yata or Pareho size ng LPG tank na maliliit.
