Either yan or yung relay.

It is better to troubleshoot the problem using pressure readings. But in addition, there are some quick troubleshooting guides for ACs:

    1. Nawawalan ng lamig after some ___ hrs of operation = EVAP could be frosting due to moisture contamination in the freon charge.

    2. It was mentioned there is a noise in the compressor = could be the bearing fitted inside the pulley or there is insufficient pulley to clutch plate gap

    3. Try putting some water in the condenser and if the compressor stops operating, it could be more than the required amount of freon (freon overcharging)

    4. Hint: try to look at the gauges while the mechanics troubleshoot your car. the right pressure should be around 110 psi (hi side or red) and 30 psi (low side or blue)

    5. Disconnect the V-belt and try to rotate the compressor pulley with the engine off. if it does not rotate, you have a stuck-up Compressor (= overhaul is needed)

6.......and so on....marami pa procedures to check AC

these are my inputs. there are still other troubleshooting procedures

Hindi pa ako nakakabalik sa ceejays. Just drove my car and ito sigurado ako sa nangyayari:
Nawawalan sya ng lamig in less than a hour na. Pag nagslow down to full stop, after a few minutes nawawala ang lamig.

Tapos pag naka off ang aircon bumababa.

Symptoms of a malfunctioning auxiliary fan. When the car is traveling at high speed, ram air pressure is present. This effectively cools down the condenser. When the car sits in traffic, there is no air blowing towards the condenser. It is the job of the auxiliary fan to provide sufficient ram air but if the fan's motor is malfunctioning, then there is no ram air and there will be high pressure in the cooling system. This will result in loss of cooling in the cabin.

If the thermostatic switch or sensor of the auxiliary fan is malfunctioning, this may also result in loss of cooling.

Nalaman ko na yung problem. It turns out yung auxilliary fan ang may problem. It looks like naka naka-disconnect yung relay switch na nag-oon ng auxilliary fan.

Just change the thermo switch. I had mine changed years ago ('96 Civic VTi) for around P650. I would guess that the price for it nowadays would be around that figure.
