Mga sir, I've experienced my aircon blowing warm(er) air for the third time in two mos.

First time na uminit aircon was after our trip to subic where I experienced a rise in engine temperature. Halos umabot na po sa redline yung temp. ko that time pero I still made it to manila, pinahinga ko lang makina and just drove at 80-100 KPH sa NLEX. The following week uminit na po aircon ko and may nakitang leak sa isa sa mga fittings. Naayos naman po sya and lumamig pero only for 2 weeks.

Then binalik ko po sa gumawa and may nakita na naman na leak sa may drier. So inayos ulit, refill ng freon and it was cool for about a month.

Ngayon po mainit na naman aircon ko and what I noticed is may hissing sound sa may area ng evap and lumalakas yung hissing sound pag pinapatay na yung aircon. And this does not happen nung malamig pa yung aircon ko.

Is it a sign of low freon level (again) due to another leak? Hindi naman tumataas temp ko these days, which is the cause of the leak in the system sabi nung gumawa - kasi daw pag tumaas engine temp., pressure builds up kaya naghahanap daw ng lalabasan ng pressure sa aircon system ko..

Ano po sa tingin nyo? Meron lang po kayang leak na hindi nakita before or is it coming from another source?

    TIA

yes its another sign na low refrigerant level na ang system...starved na sa refrigerant yung low side kaya may hissing sound (coming from the expansion valves) hindi na kasi solid yung pressure sa high side kaya may hissing sound..

possible may leak na naman yan... normal naman may pressure build up sa high side pero pag hindi maganda cooling ng condenser mo magkakaron ka ng too much pressure build up,

pwede din caused by blockage in the system and also can be caused by defective expansion valves.. make sure na vacuum ang system mo for at least 30 mins..kasi baka may restrictions ang system mo kaya nagkakaron ng leak.. papalitan mo na rin lahat ng O-rings to make sure..

have it leak tested once again and this time find an A/C shop that do an electronic leak detection and follow it up with soap spray to a suspected area . that's the way of finding a hard to find leak. they don't have to dismantle all your A/C SYSTEMS just to find the leak. it would be nice if the shop is equipped with nitrogen , that way they will be able to bring up the pressure at least 150 psi while doing an electronic leak detection

thanks sirs yapoy and bambino for your inputs
could you suggest an aircon repair shop na meron electronic leak detection.
i really wanted to get this right this time.

i called up the shop na gumawa last time and sabi nila their warranty would only cover the part/s that they fixed before.. so kung hindi sa dryer ang leak bayad na naman ako.

so i guess i'll just go to another reliable shop this time. any recommendation po.. i live in ortigas ext. pasig po pala..

i actually live here in CANADA and presently own a specialty shop ; specialized in A/C , ELECTRICAL AND ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRONICS DIAGNOSTICS CATERING AUTO SHOPS AND SERVICE CENTERS NEARBY .

to tell you , i don't know any shop out there that do this procedure of testing but you can lean on my advice , it's accurate.

pwede mo lagyan ng air yung AC system up to 250psi using compressor motor ng refrigerator attach to manifold gauge, then monitor mo yung pressure nya kung baba. pag bumaba ibig sabihin may leak yon.

pag ok ang A/C system mo ang pressure sa high side is about 200-250psi. gawin mong reference yung high side wag yung low side.

pag low refrigerant ang A/C ang common sign ay mag ON ang clutch ng compressor for a while then mag oOFF and up and down din ang iddling, sabay sa on off ng compressor.
