If not, try to find where you car's fuse box is. Then, hanapin mo yung fuse ng A/C mo. Kung busted na palitan mo lang with the same fuse. Then you should be okay. P.S. If the fuse says 7.5, you must change it too with a 7.5. Do not attempt to change it with a higher amp fuse.
If the fuse is still okay, and the fan(s) are still not running, then the problem could be with your radiator fans. You have to have it checked with a mechanic.
If the fans are still running and still no cold air coming out, then, its a possible compressor problem. You have to have it checked with a mechanic.
What happened to me yesterday at the Market Market, my Honda Accord 1994 EXI's A/C suddenly stopped running, no air coming out at all and the temperature indicator at the dashboard was slowly going up! Luckily I already parked my car in the parking lot when I noticed a hissing sound coming out of my engine hood. I turned off immediately the engine and waited for 10-15 minutes to have the hissing sound disappear and I opened my engine hood. I checked all the hoses, the radiator and the water-pump. No leak at all. Strange.
I topped up with plain water the radiator itself and its reserve tank just to be sure.
Then I ran again the engine.
Now, I noticed that the 2 radiator fans (1 for the radiator and 1 for the A/C) are not running at all automatically!???
I checked the fuse for the A/C, located inside the car, on the lower left side of the dashboard and it is indeed busted.
I just changed it with a new one and voila! I am back on the track.
At that time I was already thinking of going to Honda Makati or at Rapide. Its a good thing, I did a basic check, and saved me, probably from a hundred peso bill or maybe even a thousand one.
the "click" means that the compressor clutch engages and the frosting of the tube means the compressor is working.
the "no air" means that either your blower doesn't work or your evaporator is really dirty that the air coming out of the blower is blocked as soon as it passes the evaporator.
from your post, most likely the blower connected to the evaporator is not working. check the fuse. if the fuse is ok, then could be a stuck up blower fan. or a loose wiring connection.
in my case, nung na-stuck up ang bearing ng blower ko dahil antagal naka-garahe si oto, i just gave it a slight nudge, luckily umokei.
sinilip ko yung blower. binaklas ko copartment. nagpalit ako carbon brushes, buti nalang mura lang.. 90 lang. just reshaped the carbon brush by sanding the sides to fit the housing of the carbon brush. ako na mismo gumawa. no choice. low budget eh. hehe.
ok na sya.. this is the first time nakpa problema aircon nito in over 10 years. naubos talaga yung carbon brush. thanks for the inputs guys!! :D
baka brush lang yon o yung fuse ng blower kaya ala ng binubuga na hangin, kaya nag yelo ang evaporator mo kasi ala ng dumadaan na hangin,na istak ang lamig sa evaporator mo kaya nag yelo
