    Solution: change A/C shop.

Your problem might be a slow leak somewhere in your A/C system. The shop will have to take apart your A/C system and do a leak test on every part.

    ghosthunter,
as far as i know, leak tests are done with all components are installed in the system, this way you know if it was the joint fitting o-rings are causing the leak or the joint is not properly torqued to specs.

i totally agree with you jick .

i never done a leak test to the customers with this procedure .

technicians back home although highly skilled , were ill-equipped ,resorting to the conventional way yet not proper.

i can do a complete a/c systems leak test in just only 10 minutes or less,
without touching any of the components.

you just have to have the proper equipment to do it.

a combination of electronic leak detector, a small amount of refrigerant and nitrogen , and soap to verify a leak if there is any is the best ever in north america .if not enough , you can also use dye with the refrigerant oil for future checking.

to properly perform an evap cleaning ,

run a leak test using an electronic leak detector ( mine is YOKOGAWA FROM JAPAN -the best i ever had so far ) if no leaks found ,
recover the refrigerant. back home they usually release it .

then perform the task ,you don't have to submerge the evap into the water.

but as i mentioned pinoy techs back home are highly skilled just they are not well equipped , that's why they are resorting to this type .

Magaling dumiskarte! Maybe the reason we can survive a financial crisis.

You don't have to make comment like this kung wala kang alam sa A/C Servicing.

wow, nakaka-impress naman. pero mas bilib pa rin ako sa mga pinoy dito. imagine, with very limited diagnostic tools, they can still manage to do the job. saka iba ang situations na naeexperience ng mga technicians/shops considering the climate here. at syempre, consider also the cost of providing these so called special diagnostic tools( i forgot the brand) that you would pass on to customers. baka naman check up pa lang eh mamulubi na ang magpapagawa sa yo. tanong lang bro, bakit dun ka nagbukas ng shop sa canada? san ba dun? baka pwede malaman full details. I have brothers and sister living there in alberta. may website ka ba? I'm sure meron......

here ,me to diagnose i charge 120 in US DOLLARS .MY PER HOUR IS 70 US DOLLAR. THESE ARE ALL NORTH AMERICAN STANDARDS.

DEALERSHIPS (CASA) CHARGE OVER 100 IN US FUNDS/HR.

well, that's my point. if you're interested in putting up an auto service center back here in the philippines, you have to go down to our levels. mas maraming mahihirap dito. kahit mayayaman nagtitipid na rin. sabi nga nila, 1.2k lang ang cleaning ng aircon dito. that's roughly below 30 dollars. btw, di mo nasagot mga questions ko sa yo. nakalimutan mo?
