Huwag kasi kayo pa cleaning ng pa cleaning ng A/C niyo! Lalo masisira pag super obvious na Lang na may sira or sobrang nabawasan lamig Saka niyo na pagalaw, pero pag Wala naman huwag niyo gawin maintenance yun A/C cleaning. Lalo na yun mga newer cars meron na cabin filter so hinde na nadudumihan yun evaporator.

Been a lurker here for a long time na or everytime na masira si Auto ko. nung Naka box-type (lancer 83) pa ako dati, madalas ako dito patingin tingin lang so when i bought my sisters car way back 2005 which is a nissan sentra series 4, 2000 model. ngayon na lumilitaw ang mga sira nya re aircon..

So lets start with my story..

...My Previous Supplier MAXI1ONE (car aircon repairs) in CASIMIRO

2009 - had my aircon repair somewhere in Laspinas Casmiro.. company name: Maxi1one they have service my car valve replacement and over-all leak check (under the hood) and pull -out of evap and some minor work on my car's aircon... the Job or work lasted till 2012 September (of course di naman major repairs eh) Coldness medyo hilaw dahil hindi nag automatic si thermostat ko..

2012 - September 23 - Returned my car since wala ng lamig or freon.. so I trusted them and they did the usual repair pero ngayon mukhang madami dami na...
Cleaning, Flushing 2x, palit si Valve, Palit si Dryer, Lagay ng oil si compressor, Oring sets etc. Checking of Evap leaks (nag din sila sa reports na corroded ang EVAP ko)..

So quite happy since nag 10 un temp nya after ayusin > dont know much about standard temp basta malamig at naayos, ok nako..

BOOM!!! after 3 weeks eto na! ala na si Lamig.. so I returned my car to maxione (maxi1) around 4pm of October 2012 1st week. they try to make a leak test.. they cannot see anything under the hood... so they told me to go back and reschedule since late na, so she showed me estimates of what they will be doing if the EVAPORATOR is the issue > Cleaning, Flushing, other labor charges for Pull down of EVAP & COMPESSOR to RECHECK..

so I made a polite arguement... Why are you going to charge me with Freon / other charges since i gave you the responsibility of assessing my car's Aircon? (just in case un ang sira). kung ano request nya palitaan ok ako.. dahil para di ako masisi kung sakaling mawalan si FREON.... so I asked them have you check the EVAP if its leaking? they told me that it has no leaks but they indicate a note that it is corroded. I said ok, How bout the COMPRESSOR? they told me that the COMPRESSOR can't be check for leaks (kalsonic daw kasi) intay lang sya masira...

So I was having a lot of doubts with Maxi1one , I just felt like i dont want to spend another couple thousand pesos with the reason she gave me...



THE BIG STORY WITH CEEJAY'S...

went to google made a few keyword search...and came CEEJAY's CAR AIRCON REPAIR...
so i called the CEEJAY they where accommodating and very knowledgeable about the aircon issue I had so I aired my concerns and tell them the whole story, so i was convinced and visted them for a 2nd opinion check up....


AT CEEJAYS SHOP and all the Good things about them:

1. They had help me isolate the issue * magtipid ng conti.... Ma'am Cora told me that corrosion on EVAP could not lead to major leaks, she was eyeing more on the Compressor Orings and Fittings (dont know the right word) so Unang binaba ni Technican si Compressor at ayun! (3) tatlong butas nga un sumisingaw..... ang Galing! I still let them pull down my EVAP to check since i was satisfied with their assessment (Still the EVAP was very much INTACT no leaks), and of course new Supplier Back to Zero CHECKUP and ASSESSMENT is the IDEAL ..

2. MAXI1ONE told me that the compressor Cant be check for leaks seems she did it intentiionally and lied to me kasi wala silang gamit or skills to check it... CEEJAY has technical skill of looking for leaks in the compressor so nagbaklas sila ng Konti for leak test at pinakita sakin un leaks.. completo sila sa gamit pati mga panghinang (di nila pina subcon sa iba)

3. CEEJAY guarantees their work! my previous supplier does not (since chinacharge nga nila ako for their wrong assessment)

4. CEEJAY done cleaning service on my BLOWER.. Previous supplier didn't include the BLOWER in their cleaning services ano pa silbi ni Aircon kung halos half inch na ang kapal ng alikabok ng blower??

5. As usual Feedbacks CEEJAY Staff and Owners very hospitable and friendly, pati kuwntuhan, and sympre un free COKE which is un paborito ko hehe..

6. may mga inaayos pa sina CEEJAY sa caraircon and have gone the extramile to satisfy their clients.... like un foam sa EVAP inayos nila, since mali un pagkabit ng dati kong supplier. Tinakpan nila un Air Intake (not sure kung ano tawag dito) pero eto un kahit naka aircon at closed windows ka at napatap sa Garbage truck eh langhap mo un amoy x(..

7 The most important thing for me ay naibalik ni CEEJAY un dating Lamig ng AIRCON ko. pati lakas ng BLOWER.. pag sinabing dati eh un pang BRAND NEW na KOTSE... umabot ng 7 un temp i cant imagine!!... nglamig un mga kalamnan ko and nag a-automatic na si aircon.

8. CEEJAY's got hitech UV gadget to spot the leaks, since newly repaired na si aircon ko they advise me to put a special oil for 1-2 weeks gawan nila ng assessment para mas spot kung my leak ang pinaka loob ng compressor.... so abangang ang susunod na kabanata.... ill be back there October 29, 2012 for my car aircons final test..... hoping and praying na hindi compressor ko ang papalitan ='(

Sorry late update. Nagpagawa ako nung Oct. 28 (Sunday). Nandun ako ng 7am then nakauwi ako ng 12:30pm.
Maganda talaga sa Ceejay's. Meron silang lobby with TV ako pa may hawak ng controller. May cateen din sila. Very accommodating sila ma'am Cora. Siya pa mismo nagprepare ng lunch namin.
Mabait din ung mga gumagawa, tanong ka lang explain nila kagad ng maayos. hindi suplado ung mga tao dun.

1. Pulldown Evaporator for Cleaning and check leak 2x, vacuum, oil and freon - Php 2,800.00
2. Welding Front Evaporator 2x (dalawa butas) - Php 400.00
3. Pulldown Condenser for check leak - Php 450.00
4. Pull out Compressor - Php 250.00
5. Replace Compressor Pulley and Hub - Php 2000.00

Total Price: Php 5,900.00 minus 10% discount = Php5,300.00
Nagawa ba? Yes nagawa. Malamig na talaga siya kahit hindi nakatodo ang thermostat. kaya na din kahit maiinit ung panahon.

May naging problema ba after? Unfortunately YES,
First: may tumutunog every time nagON ang compressor .
Second: nagpapawis ung compressor.
Hindi ko pa sila natatwagan, pero ibabalik ko sa kanila. dito ko din makikita ang kanilang after sales service.

Update ko lang po sa Ceejay. Nagpa gawa po ako kanina ng Hyundai H100 ko, ang layo ng byahe ko from Quezon Province to Las Pinas at dumating kami sa Ceejay at 0530HR at buti nalang at gising na si manager Cora at ginising nya agad ang mga technician nya at inumpisan kaagad ang check-up at 0545HR at napag kasunduan namin ibaba ang evaporator, condenser at compressor para ma check ang pinag mulan ng leaks at yon sa suction hose ang leaking at natapos ang buong trabraho at 1400HR. Sa ngayon super lamig na ang AC ko at sana wala ng leak para di magbago ang lamig. At thanks a lot kay Manager Cora at Joel and Kathy at Mias at Tech. Amon at sa iba pang Tech. na nag assist kay Amon di kona tanda ang lahat na mga pangalan at pacencya na kung may mali sa mga nabangit kung mga pangalan. At salamat din uli kay Manager Cora at Joel sa libre na lunch from KFC.

I'm at ceejay's ngayon waiting for my aircon to be fixed. I'm very happy they were able to find the problem sa AC. Very welcoming sila kahit first time ko palang dito and was offered coffee.
